Growing With the Game: My Reflections on Splinterlands’ Evolution

Right from the exact moment when I came across Splinterlands, it was something that felt a bit more interesting than the other things as well, because it was something that had a lot of attraction that I felt towards it, due to a lot of factors. It was something that felt more than just a particular blockchain game, as it was built on Hive blockchain, which I was a part of for such a long period of time, and a lot of other aspects needed so much great as well.

It has been many years since that actually happened, and from that point onwards, there have been a lot of things that have actually happened in the ecosystem itself, where a lot of games have come and gone as well, and not every game managed to survive this long, which definitely is a big positive about Splinterlands itself. In this particular article, I am just going to share my thoughts and reflections on the game itself, along with what makes me even more excited to come back and restart my journey as well, and the things that I have seen in all these years.

My personal journey begin with the game very early and it was a particular time when there were not mini games that were built on blockchains and it was a point of time when I was very much involved in creating content on Hive blockchain itself and when the game game up over here it naturally became something that I got into and instantly I purchased the starter pack that was required to have access within the game and explored it in many ways and instantly liked it.

It was really a fun experience to have so much on the platform itself where I have been a part of her such a long period of time and having such an amazing game was really great and it was a point of time when I was actually going through a lot of different cards and trying to build some Strategies and having fun while doing this card Battles and it was always filling me up with a lot of curiosity as well.

But later on I actually got in world in a lot of other things in my personal life which was a big reason why I was not able to play the game for a very frequent basis but I was not playing it very frequently I was always apart of the ecosystem itself and always keenly observed at the things that were happening within the game and also the new editions along with the developments that we taking place.

If we talk about Splinterlands today then it's really has gone through a lot of evolution in the recent years and it is not the same what it used to be many years ago and that is really big reason why it has been surviving so long as well because one of the best things that it had to offer was the developers behind it and also the community that has been the part of it has post the game itself to new heights and me that immensely popular among the games that are available on blockchain.

One of the best things that Splinterlands has to of a within its Gambler mechanics is obviously going to be able the fact that it is going to be value in strategy much more and it is definitely going to be never about the ability to have the better cards than your opponents because it will definitely becoming into play but more importantly it is going to be about the strategy that is implemented by the players as there are a lot of factors that I need it to be taken care of such as the mana cap and even the adaptability factor that is needed to be taken care of.

Most of the games have some sort of reproductive pattern which makes them a particular aspect that feels a little bit boring after a point of time but when it comes to Splinterlands it is the surely going to be keeping you thinking about what is going to come next as there will be a lot of things which are needed to be ensured so that there will be a fresh situation that we are going to be subjected to and that makes it even more important to be ready for even the most random conditions so that we can outplay our enemy.

The card ownership aspect about the game is also something that makes it so special as well because one you have a card within the game it is going to be something that will be meaningful and an asset that you own as well which is something that you can do whatever you wish to with it as you can make it a particular thing that you want to rent to other players as well and you can also decide to salad to other people and even you can use it to trade for other cards with other players as well and it is definitely going to have its own monetary value as well which is something that not all the games have to offer which brings another factor into play along with the things such as emotions and time commitments which is going to be a financial aspect as well.

Along with all of this there has been many improvement that have been made on the platform itself which has brought a lot of new content and that is something which makes it always feel refreshing to come back for not just returning please but also the ones who are coming on the platform on a very frequent basis which makes it something that always have that welcome sensation to everyone which is always going to be a very big credit to the developers and it so that they are actually attracting everyone regardless of how the play the game.

One thing that makes the game stand out quite a lot is obviously going to be the community itself because there are a lot of community who have been making the entire game feel alive as you will find several post that are been published daily that is going to be related to the game itself which is something that screens the environment of people within the game itself which is obviously a great aspect to have.

For me personally it definitely feels a great journey that I have been a part of all though I have not been so regular but it is something that I am looking forward towards changing and in the recent few weeks I have been very much regularly playing the game itself and trying to rank myself up and kickstarting my journey with Splinterlands again and that has been something which I have been enjoying as well as it definitely still is one of the most amazing games that you can find on blockchain itself.
