Splinterlands is a Digital Collectible Card Game Powered by Hive Blockchain Technology. Blockchain technology is powering the future of gaming allowing players to trade sell and lease their card assets. Splinterlands makes it easy to earn daily. Splinterlands 是什麼遊戲？

Splinterlands是一款運行於區塊鏈（HIVE區塊鏈）上的數位咭牌遊戲。區塊鏈技術讓參與Splinterlands遊戲的玩家能於網絡上運用加密貨幣進行咭牌交易，玩家之間可以進行買入/賣出、租賃/出租遊戲咭牌。同時玩家能透過完成遊戲的每日任務、參加公開賽及每半個月的賽季積分獎勵等，每天獲取不同等值的收入。

If you are new to the game Splinterlands, you are welcome to read my Beginner Guild Vol.1. There will be a basic introduction to the game. Without further ado, let's start this skill introduction.

Ability Introduction / 技能介紹：

Void:

Reduced damage from Magic attacks.
Attack damage gets halved (rounded up), except attack 1 which deals 0 damage

減少魔法攻擊造成的傷害。

Double Strike/雙擊:

Monster attacks twice each round.

怪物每回合能攻擊兩次。

Flying/飛行:

Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability.
+25% chance of evading.
Cumulative with Dodge and Blind ability, to get up to + 65% chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks.
Snare can remove Flying.
Does not work against enemies that have Flying itself.
It does not affect magic attacks.

有更高的機會閃避沒有飛行能力的怪物的近戰或遠程攻擊。

The Battle rule / 戰鬥規則

Each battle is unique, so once you're matched with an opponent you will see a popup showing you the combat rules for that battle and other information for that battle only.

每場戰鬥都是獨一無二的，因此一旦您與對手匹配，您將看到一個戰鬥視窗，顯示該戰鬥的戰鬥規則以及該戰鬥的其他信息。

Available Mana Cost / 可用召喚值

It was a normal Mana battle that can be use 28 manas.

Battle restrictions or Additional skills / 戰鬥限制或附加技能

Only Earth desk cannot be used in this battle.

Target Practice: All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability.
Keep a no attack, Magic or Ranged monster in position 2 with Shield, Void, Magic Reflect, Return Fire. Triage helps in this ruleset.

目標練習：所有遠程和魔法攻擊怪物都有狙擊能力。

Considering card selection / 選卡考量

• In this battle, because of the battle rules, all Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability. So, select a high health no attack, Magic or Ranged monster in position 2 with Shield, Void, Magic Reflect, Return Fire. And place a Triage abilities monster in the team will be important. Triage abilities monster can heal the position 2 monster, it can enhance the defense of the team.

Caladuum and Djinn Oshannus are one of High health Magic monsters with Void ability.

Lobstradamus and Poseidon, both of them were water desk monster with Shield.
And a Lv3 Lobstradamus will add Magic Reflect ability

• In addition, high speed and high magic or range damage monsters will be my first choose. High speed always important in the battle. My team can destroy enemy’s magic or range monster as quick as possible.

• So Water desk with Summoners Kelya Frendul is my choose, there are some high speed magic or range attack monster in my card desk

Summoners/召喚師: Kelya Frendul (Level 3)

A very good and more affordable summoner in water desk. It can increase 1 speed and 1 armor for the whole team.

First position/第一位: Cruel Sethropod (Level 1)

Cruel Sethropod is my tank in this 28 manas battle. Its’ low mana cost that can save more manas for my main attacker in the lineup. I wish its’ armors and health value can be given around 2 rounds protection for the team.

在這場只能使用28 召喚數值的戰鬥中，Cruel Sethropod是我次第一位置的選擇。 它只需3召喚值花費，讓可以為將更多召喚數值用於其他主要攻擊者。我期望藉著它的裝甲和生命值可以為團隊提供2回合左右的保護。

Second position: Djinn Oshannus (Level 2)

My first main attacker in my lineup. Djinn Oshannus had high health with Void ability, it can reduce 1 magic damage. That’s mean no damage will be provided if enemy’s magic monster had only one magic attack power. Furthermore, a level 2 Djinn Oshannus had Phase ability, it can help Djinn Oshannus dodges the magic attack. I also want it dodges the range attack by its’ high speed.

Third position: Creeping Ooze (Level 1)

After increase +1 speed, I use Creeping Ooze to reduce 1 speed to my enemy. An important support monster that can increase the chance of the team monster to attack enemy first.

Fourth position: Spirit Hoarder (Level 2)

Another support monster. I need its’ Triage ability to heal the monster in the back. In this battle ruleset, Djinn Oshannus will be the first target of the magic or range attacker of my enemy. Spirit Hoarder can recover the health of Djinn Oshannus when it get hurt.

Fifth position: Axemaster (Level 1)

Another main attacker with high speed, I need its’ double strike ability. It can provide 4 damage to my enemy each round.

Last position: Ice Pixie (Level 1)

My last monster is Ice Pixie. One more high speed attacker in this lineup. I also want it can protect the back line of the team by its’ speed and flying ability.

Notes/備註:

The weakness of my lineup is the backline. If my enemy use many Sneak ability monsters, the backline of my team will very easy to break through.
我陣容的弱點是後防線。如果我的敵人使用了很多潛行能力的怪物，我的團隊的後排防線將很容易被突破。

Game Play

My opponent selected Death desk with Thaddius Brood be theirs Summoner. This summoner reduces the health of all my team by 1 point, and also reduces the attack power of my team's magic attack monsters by 1 point. He had two Heal ability monster with high health, they are very difficult to destroy. Who will win this battle? Let’s see the battle with the battle link below.

At start, after all summoners/monster abilities added. My team had speed advantage, most of the speed of enemy‘s monster had reduced to 1. Their first three monster will be destroyed before round 2. They did not had any Sneak monsters so I had no needed to worry. My Djinn Oshannus only got 2 damages in this round, their range attack easy miss in slow speed. The damages will recovered by Spirit Hoarder.

From the second to the fourth round, the battle began to stalemate. Although my team can focus on the opposing Cornealus, it is difficult to eliminate it in a short period of time because it heals itself. And my Cruel Sethropod stayed up front until round 5, which was way better than I expected. Opponents continued to miss attacks frequently because of the speed disadvantage.

第二到第四回合，戰鬥開始膠著。雖然我的隊伍能集中攻擊對方的Cornealus，但因為它能為自己進行治療，因此很難在短時間內將它消滅。而我的Cruel Sethropod在前方仍能堅守到第五回合，遠超我的預期。對手繼續因為速度的劣勢而令攻擊經常失誤。

Conclusion:

---

The main point that I can win this battle because of the speed of the monster. And the cooperation between Djinn Oshannus and Spirit Hoarder is another reason. In second place, Djinn Oshannus drew the enemy's attack, but with his speed advantage and special skills, the team was well protected. This battle is a good example of how a team should be formed under the "Target Practice" combat rule. It's just that my formation is not without weaknesses. If the opponent uses multiple monsters with the "Opportunity" and "Sneak" skills, I will be defeated.
