Anticipation of a witch hunt

I've been taking a bit of a break lately because I've been working too hard on video editing, which I started as a new job. It's funny how once you can do something, it becomes a lot easier to do the same thing afterwards.

And now I'm watching an event on SPLTV where I might win a GFkitty if I watch it, so I'm playing a ranked match of the new Modern League without a bot while I watch.

I'm not ready to get back into the game in earnest yet, but I'm slowly finding the time to play.

Modern tends to have a lower win rate than wild because there are fewer cards to choose from.
It is difficult to win in a row, so I felt that I could not let my guard down even though it is an environment without bots.

Without the bot, I could feel that it was a battle between humans, and I enjoyed a game without a sense of emptiness for a long time!

However, I feel that there is no point in playing Wild. I would have been happy if at least Wild could be divided between bot and manual and have a 3-league system.

新しい仕事として始めた動画編集をがんばりすぎたため、最近少しお休みしている。動画編集は一度何かができるようになるとその後同じことをする場合非常に楽になるのが面白い。

そして今SPLTVで見るとGFkittyが当選するかもしれないイベントをやっているので、見ながらbotのいない新しいモダンリーグのランクマッチをプレイしているんだ。

まだ本格的に復帰できるわけじゃないが、少しずつプレイできる余裕が生まれている。

モダンは選択できるカードが少ない分、ワイルドよりも勝率が低くなりやすい。
連勝するのが難しいので、botがいない環境とはいえ油断はできないと感じた。

botがいないと人間同士の戦いだと感じることができるので、久々に虚無感のないゲームを楽しめた！

しかし、ワイルドをプレイする意味がないと感じてしまう。せめてワイルドもbotと手動で分けられるようにして、3リーグ制にしてくれたら嬉しいと思った。

When I heard that this proposal was approved and that battle helpers would be banned or new rules would be added in the future, I was delighted but also reminded of one unpleasant incident.

It was a witch-hunt based on an unsubstantiated rumor that ueyuey, halfblue, and I were bots, or that we were in a win trade.

Let me first tell you how I came to that conclusion.
When I checked the official discord to see how the battle helper ban discussion was going, I saw someone saying in front of everyone that ueyuey and I were taking notes to increase our win rate, which was baseless.

If I remember correctly, the last time I was on a witch hunt, I may have mentioned in a video I posted with Ashley's help that ueyuey was taking notes on the Little League matchups.

But that was over a year ago.
I don't know how ueyuey is doing now, but at least I am not taking notes.
As I started to play more cards, and started to play Champion League and Gold League on azipoon, the amount of information became too much for me and I gave up taking notes.

I had to fight on my own at splinterfest, so from that day on I had to rely only on my memory and my imagination.

I swore by the frustration I felt when I lost in the finals and started to rely only on myself to fight.
I couldn't sleep for about 3 days after that and I had a corona!

No offense may be taken to the submitter on this one, but I was pretty pissed off.

In fact, if dave's proposal is passed and the bylaws are changed, taking notes is allowed, but it would be unimpressive behavior.
Furthermore, it is forbidden to share it with anyone.

In other words, someone starts a rumor that "ueyuey and schnapoon share handwritten notes," and many people believe it.
It is very difficult for us to provide evidence to dispel the rumor.

Last time, we were banned from a zen sports tournament because many people believed a photo that was totally bogus as proof of a win trade.

People will believe even the stories that you think they wouldn't believe if you leave them out. So we learned to be a little nervous.

If people suspect you did something, all you can do is say you didn't do it. Or you have to repeat the sterile debate with an influential collaborator on your side.

When you are suspected of sharing notes, how on earth are you going to overturn it?

I don't want to do this every single time.
Splinterlands should be a gentleman's e-sport like golf.

We can be very annoyed by someone's casual reference to me and ueyuey.

I hope that anyone who makes a comment about us will think before posting it and consider whether or not the comment will arouse suspicion or hate from those who read it.

And in the future, if anyone talks about me or ueyuey's personal information as if they know us, please stop it and let us know.

この提案が通り、今後バトルヘルパーが禁止されたり、新たな規約が足されると聞いてぼくは喜びと共に一つ嫌な出来事を思い出した。

それはueyueyとhalfblueとぼくがbotだとか、winトレードをしているとか、そういう根も葉もないうわさによる魔女狩り事件だ。

実際ぼくがそう思った背景をまず話そう。
バトルヘルパー禁止の話し合いがどのように進んでいるか公式Discordを確認した時、ぼくとueyueyが勝率を上げるためメモをとっているとみんなの前で根拠のないことを言っている人を見たからだ。

ぼくの記憶が正しければ前回魔女狩りに合った際、アシュリーの協力で投稿した動画の中でueyueyがリトルリーグの対戦メモを取っていると話していたかもしれない。

しかし、それは1年以上も前の話だ。
ueyueyが今どうしているか知らないが、少なくともぼくはメモを取っていない。
カードの種類が増え、azipoonでチャンピオンリーグやゴールドリーグもプレイするようになって、情報量が多くなりすぎるためぼくはメモを取ることを諦めた。

splinterfestでは自分だけで戦わなければいけないので、あの日から自分の記憶力と発想力だけを頼りに戦うようになったんだ。

決勝戦で負けた時の悔しい気持ちに誓い、自分だけを頼りに戦うようになった。
あれから3日くらい寝れなかったし、コロナにも罹ったんだ！！

この件について投稿者に悪気はないかもしれないが、ぼくはかなり腹が立った。

実際、daveの提案が可決され、規約が変更されたらメモを取ることは許可されているが、印象は悪い行動となるだろう。
さらにそれを誰かと共有することは禁止とされている。

つまり、「ueyueyとschnapoonは手書きのメモを共有している」と誰かが噂を立て、その噂を多くの人が信じてしまったとする。
ぼくらはそれに対してその噂を払拭するに足る証拠を提示するのが非常に難しいんだ。

前回はwinトレードの証拠と称した写真がまったくでたらめであったのに多くの人が信じて、ぼくらはzenスポーツのトーナメントの出場を禁止された。

みんな信じるわけないだろと思った話ですら、放置しているとみんな信じてしまうんだ。だからぼくたちは少し神経質になるくらいがちょうどいいと学んだ。

疑われてもやってないと言うしかできない。または影響力のある協力者を味方につけて不毛な討論を繰り返さなければいけない。

あなたがメモの共有を疑われたとき、いったいどうやってそれを覆すんだ？

こんなこと毎回毎回やりたくないよ。

誰かの何気ないぼくとueyueyに対する言及がきっかけでぼくらは非常に迷惑を被る可能性がある。

ぼくらについて発言する人はそれを投稿する前に、その発言が読んだ人からの疑いやヘイトがぼくらに向く発言に該当するか考えてから投稿してほしい。

そして今後ぼくやueyueyの個人的な情報を知ったように話す人が出たらぜひ止めて、ぼくらに教えてほしい。
