Battle Mage Secrets Challenge - Explosive Weaponry (DE/ENG)
Diese Woche wird es ganz schön explosiv werden 😁. Eine neue Battle Mage Secrets Challenge ist da. Es gibt wieder ein neues Ruleset das wir uns genauer anschauen können. Diese Woche dreht sich alles um das Ruleset Explosive Weaponry. Wir werden einen genaueren Blick darauf werfen und uns anschauen wie das Ruleset im Kampf angewendet wird.

1. Ruleset Explosive Weaponry
"Explosive Weaponry" bedeutet, dass alle Monster die Fähigkeit "Blast". "Blast" wiederum macht zusätzlichen Schaden an den benachbarten Karten der Zielkarte.
Klingt erstmal sehr gut. Das bringt Schwung in die Bude 😉. Hier gilt es, eine gute Taktik zu entwickeln, bei der man sich nicht selbst ans Messer liefert. Aber genau deswegen werde ich euch meine Strategie hierzu vorstellen, die imm Kampf hoffentlich siegreich sein wird. Es gibt aber sicherlich viele verschiedene Strategien, die ebenfalls erfolgreich sein können.

"Explosive Weaponry" means that all monsters have the ability "Blast". "Blast" in turn does additional damage to the adjacent cards of the target card.
Sounds very good for now. That brings momentum to the game 😉. The key here is to develop a good tactic where you don't deliver yourself to the knife. But that's exactly why I'll present you with my strategy for this, which will hopefully be victorious in the battle. However, there are certainly many different strategies that can also be successful.

2. Battle Rulesets
Zu der explosiven Mischung gesellt sich dann noch "Unprotected" als Ruleset in den Kampf dazu. "Unprotected" bedeutet, dass die Monster keine Rüstung haben und keine Rüstung durch Fähigkeiten oder Beschwörungszauber erhalten. Das Mana Cap liegt bei 38 und bis auf die Elemente Feuer und Drachen, dürfen alle weiteren Elemente für den Kampf ausgewählt werden.

Adding to the explosive mix, "Unprotected" is then added to the battle as a ruleset. "Unprotected" means that the monsters have no armor and receive no armor from abilities or summoning spells. The mana cap is 38 and except for the elements fire and dragon, all other elements may be selected for the battle.

3. My Team
Für diesen Kampf habe ich mich für das Element Wasser entschieden. Obwohl mir Kelya Frendul in diesem Fall mit +1 Rüstung nicht weiter helfen kann, bin ich trotzdem vom Element und deren Monstern überzeugt. Das restliche Team wird wie folgt aufgestellt:

1. Diemonshark
2. Tide Biter
3. River Hellondale
4. Deeplurker
5. Venator Kinjo
6. Wave Brood

Hier sind meine Gedanken zur Teamauswahl und Strategie.
Beim Ruleset "Explosive Weaponry" denke ich sofort an "Reflexion Shield". Ich gehe in keinen Kampf ohne Monster mit dieser Fähigkeit. Meiner Meinung nach ist der Kampf verloren, wenn man selbst ohne Monster mit dieser Fähigkeit spielt, der Gegner ihn aber eingesetzt hat.
Starten wir mit Diemonshark auf der ersten Position. Mit seinen 10 Leben ist er ein sehr guter Tank und hat seinen Platz verdient. Tide Biter spielt auf der zweiten Position. Er absorbiert den Blast Schaden vom Gegner an meinem Diemonshark eben durch die Fähigkeit "Reflexion Shield". Er selbst macht aber auch 3 Melee Schaden die ihr Ziel immer treffen und nicht verfehlen können. Er ist also in doppelter Funktion sehr wichtig für den Kampf. Sollte der Diemonshark oder ein anderes Monster eliminiert werden, wird er durch River Hellondale auf der dritten Position wiederbelebt. Ausserdem gibt er meinem gesamten Team +1 Melee Angriff.
Auf der vierten Position wird Deeplurker spielen. Er ist ein absolutes Beast und darf im Kampf mit dem Element Wasser nicht fehlen. Venator Kinjo wird auf der 5 spielen. Er besitzt ebenfalls die Reflexion Shield Fähigkeit. Dies ist besonders wichtig für das Monster auf meiner letzten Position. Hier wird nämlich Wave Brood spielen. Er zieht alle Angriffe auf sich und es ist deshalb sehr wichtig, den Blast Schaden auszuschalten.
Wenn mein Strategie aufgeht, dann gehen alle Attacken des Gegners auf meine Position 1 und 6, die aber beide von Monstern mit Reflexion Shield umgeben sind. Somit nehme ich dem Gegner den kompletten Vorteil vom Ruleset "Explosive Weaponry" und verschaffe mir hiermit einen guten Vorteil. River Hellondale und Deeplurker würden sich somit in einer "Bubble" befinden und zumindest am Anfange eine Zeit lang keinen Schaden bekommen.
Ich bin sehr zuversichtlich mit dieser Strategie und freue mich schon auf den Kampf.

Here are my thoughts on team selection and strategy.
When I think of the Explosive Weaponry ruleset, I immediately think of Reflection Shield. I don't go into any battle without monsters with this ability. In my opinion, if you play without monsters with this ability yourself, but your opponent has used it, the battle is lost.
Let's start with Diemonshark in the first position. With his 10 life he is a very good tank and deserves his place. Tide Biter plays on the second position. He absorbs the Blast damage from the opponent on my Diemonshark just by the ability "Reflection Shield". But he also does 3 Melee damage which always hits its target and can't miss. So he is in double function very important for the fight. If the Diemonshark or any other monster is eliminated, he is revived by River Hellondale on the third position. Also, he gives +1 Melee Attack to my entire team.
In the fourth position, Deeplurker will play. He is an absolute beast and cannot be missed in the battle with the element of water. Venator Kinjo will play on the 5th position. He also has the Reflection Shield ability. This is especially important for the monster on my last position. This is where Wave Brood will play. He draws all the attacks, so it's very important to take out the Blast damage.
If my strategy works, then all of the opponent's attacks will go to my position 1 and 6, but they are both surrounded by monsters with Reflexion Shield. Thus, I take away the complete advantage of the Explosive Weaponry ruleset and give myself a good advantage. River Hellondale and Deeplurker would be in a "Bubble" and would not get any damage for a while, at least at the beginning.
I am very confident with this strategy and am looking forward to the battle.

Der Kampf wurde im modern Format in der Diamond 2 Liga ausgetragen. Der Gegner spielt ebenfalls mit Kelya Frendul und dem Element Wasser.

Der Gegner hat die gleiche Strategie angewendet, jedoch nur mit anderen Monstern. Er hat mit Baakjira auf der ersten Position gespielt. Insofern bekam mein Diemonshark keinen Schaden vom Gegner und alles ging auf mein Wave Brood. Mein Schaden Output war jedoch höher als den des Gegners sodass ich am Ende, nach nur drei Runden, den Kampf gewinnen konnte.
Ich war sehr froh über diesen Sieg und darauf zu sehen, wie die Strategie funktioniert hat und mit den Sieg eingefahren hat 🤗.

The opponent used the same strategy, but only with different monsters. He played with Baakjira on the first position. So my Diemonshark got no damage from the opponent and everything went to my Wave Brood. However, my damage output was higher than the opponent's, so in the end, after only three rounds, I was able to win the battle.
I was very happy about this victory and to see how the strategy worked and brought in the victory 🤗.
