Social Media Challenge - Exploding Rats (DE/ENG)
Wenn man mit dem Feuer spielt, verbrennt man sich die Finger. Ich hoffe das ist nicht bei dieser Social Media Challenge der Fall. Ich werde in diesem Beitrag mit dem Element Feuer spielen, jedoch erhoffe ich mir, dass ich mir die Finger nicht verbrenne 😉. Ich stelle euch die Exploding Rats vor. Wir werden uns die Stats ansehen und einen Blick auf die Leistung im Kampf werfen.
If you play with fire, you'll burn your fingers. I hope that's not the case with this social media challenge. I will be playing with the element of fire in this post, however I hope I don't burn my fingers 😉 . I'm going to introduce you to Exploding Rats. We will look at the stats and take a look at the performance in battle.
1. Stats
Exploding Rats ist eine rare Karte aus der Chaos Legion Edition und gehört zu dem Element Feuer. Auf Level 1 besitzen sie 2 Melee Angriff, 4 Geschwindigkeit, 1 Leben und kosten 4 Mana. Die "Blast" Fähigkeit kommt dann noch dazu. "Blast" macht zusätzlichen Schaden an den benachbarten Karten der Zielkarte.
Ich besitze die Exploding Rats auf dem maximalen Level (Lvl 8). Auf diesem Level besitzt er 4 Melee Angriff, 7 Geschwindigkeit und ein Leben. "Redemption" und "True Strike" kommen als Fähigkeit noch dazu. "Redemption " bedeutet, dass, wenn dieses Monster stirbt, es allen gegnerischen Monstern 1 Schaden zufügt. "True Strike" bedeutet, dass die Angriffe des Monsters ihr Ziel nicht verfehlen.
Ich spiele persönlich nicht do oft mit den Exploding Rats. Wenn, dann beispielsweise mit einem Ruleset Melee Mayhem. Hier kann ich sie so Positionieren, dass sie etwas länger am Leben bleiben. Wenn sie dann eliminiert werden, dann schlägt die Fähigkeit "Redemption" zu 😉.

2. Ruleset
"Equal Opportunity", "Little League" und "Taking Sides" sind die drei aktiven Rulesets für diesen Kampf. "Equal Opportunity" bedeutet, dass alle Monster die Fähigkeit Opportunity bekommen. "Little League" bedeutet, dass nur noch Monster und Beschwörer, die 4 Mana oder weniger kosten, in Kämpfen eingesetzt werden können. "Taking Sides" bedeutet, dass neutrale Monster nicht in Kämpfen eingesetzt werden dürfen. Das Mana Cap liegt bei 51 und nur das Element Feuer darf gespielt werden.

"Equal Opportunity," "Little League," and "Taking Sides" are the three active rulesets for this battle. "Equal Opportunity" means that all monsters get the Opportunity ability. "Little League" means that only monsters and summoners that cost 4 mana or less can still be used in battles. "Taking Sides" means that neutral monsters cannot be used in battles. The mana cap is 51 and only the element Fire may be played.

3. My Team
Da nur das Element Feuer für den Kampf erlaubt ist, wird es sowohl bei mir als auch beim Gegner keine Überraschung geben. Als Summoner geht Tarsa für mich in den Kampf. Sie gibt dem Team +1 Melee Angriff und +1 Leben. Die restliche Teamaufstellung wird nachfolgend angezeigt:
Since only the element of fire is allowed for the fight, there will be no surprise for me as well as for the opponent. As a Summoner, Tarsa goes into battle for me. She gives the team +1 melee attack and +1 life. The rest of the team lineup is shown below:

2. Antoid Platoon
3. Spark Pixies
4. Exploding Rats
5. Scavo Firebolt
6. Lava Spider
4. My Strategy
Hier sind meine Gedanken zur Strategie und Teamaufstellung.
Das Mana Cap spielt in diesem Kampf keine Rolle. Da ich nur kleine Monster mit niedrigem Mana spielen darf, werde ich sowieso nicht auf das Mana Cap kommen. Equal Opportunity stört mich etwas, da die Exploding Rats nur 1 Leben haben und somit sofort attackiert werden.
Venari Heathsmith wird den Anfang machen und auf Position eins spielen. Im direkten Duel soll er mir einen Vorteil durch die Fähigkeit "Thorns" verschaffen. Antoid Platoon spielen auf der zweiten Position. Diese sind sehr häufig in meine Kämpfen dabei, weil sie nicht viel Mana kosten und sich trotzdem als kleinen Tank sehr gut eignen. Spark Pixies spielt auf der dritten Position. Er soll meinen Star der Woche eine Runde länger ma Leben halten. Durch das Ruleset Equal Opportunity wird Spark als erstes angegriffen, danach gehen die Angriffe dann auf die Exploding Rats, die auf Position 4 spielen.
Scavo Firebolt geht auf der Position 5 ins Rennen. Seine 3 Fernkampf Angriffe könne durchaus Schaden am Gegner ausrichten. Zu guter Letzt spielt Lava Spider auf der letzten Position. Er besitzt die Fähigkeit Poison, wodurch die Gegner nach jedem Angriff hoffentlich vergiftet werden und nach jeder Runde 2 Leben verlieren.
Das Team ist bereit und ich hoffe, dass die Strategie aufgeht.

Here are my thoughts on strategy and team formation.
The mana cap doesn't matter in this fight. Since I only get to play small monsters with low mana, I won't get to the mana cap anyway. Equal Opportunity bothers me a bit, since the Exploding Rats only have 1 life, so they will be attacked immediately.
Venari Heathsmith will start things off and play in position one. In the direct Duel he should give me an advantage with the Thorns ability. Antoid Platoon will play on the second position. These are very common in my battles because they don't cost a lot of mana and are still very good as a small tank. Spark Pixies plays on the third position. He is supposed to keep my Star of the Week alive for one more turn. Due to the Equal Opportunity ruleset, Spark is attacked first, then the attacks go to the Exploding Rats playing at position 4.

5. The Battle
Der Kampf wurde im modern Format in der Diamond 2 Liga ausgetragen. Der Gegner hat sich, wie soll es auch anders sein, auch für das Element Feuer entschieden 😉.
The fight was held in the modern format in the Diamond 2 league. The opponent has chosen, how could it be otherwise, also for the element of fire 😉.

7. Conclusion
Nach nur drei Runden konnte ich den Kampf für mich entscheiden. Es war ein kurzer Auftritt meines Stars, den Exploding Rats. Sie konnten lediglich einen Angriff ausführen bis sie dann vom Gegner Eliminiert wurden. Antoid Platoon konnte jedoch daraus einen Vorteil ziehen indem sie für jedes Monster was eliminiert wurde +1 Leben bekam. Das, kombiniert mit den Angriffen meines restlichen Teams, haben mir dann den Sieg eingefahren.
After only three rounds, I was able to win the fight. It was a short appearance of my star, the Exploding Rats. They could only perform one attack until they were eliminated by the opponent. However, Antoid Platoon was able to take advantage of this by getting +1 life for each monster eliminated. This, combined with the attacks of the rest of my team, gave me the victory.
