The battle stats (ALL) doesn't seem to add up between Wild + Modern. So difference maybe frontier? Hope PKM team can easily adjust the chart, I think it should be an easy fix.
Important metric is the Modern battles since this points to active players who are investing/renting cards. Modern battles should increase --> this should be the goal of Splinterlands team.

Well, I hope the PKM team gets into the details and try to fix it up.
While for the game, I am pretty sure team will do their best for making different modules exciting and time worthy for the players.
