REBELLION!! A whole new meta in Splinterland~

Hi all my old friends in Splinterlands social media, it was a BUSY year in 2023 so I seldom have time to make some new posts in PEAKD. It has been almost a whole year for me to catch up with Splinterlands.

Now, I am BACK!!!!!!!!! And I just found something exciting for me since the new meta is coming within two weeks. The Rebellion, which is complete a whole different meta comparing to what we used to do.

And I would like to have some update for my Splinterlands status.

First and foremost, it was a tough year for most crypto currencies including DEC and SPS. After the SPS airdrop event of last year, I did not make any changes in my Diesel Pools. The first thing I come back is to remove my position and swap to something that is more attractive for me.

I swapped the DEC and SPS into Hive and buy lots of Chaos packs since I think those amazing packs are undervalue which stays at around 0.8USD per pack. Therefore, I staked parts of my SPS, keep the rest of my DEC and sweep some packs as you can see.

I think they are sitting at a good price for me to buy, so that I do not have any hastate to make this decision.

Although the price of SPS dropped a lot, I think it is still find for me to keep those staked SPS in my wallet. Moreover, the more SPS I staked, the higher reward boost I can have to accumulate my focus point for my daily chests in the new focus point system.

After that, I used some of my DEC to purchase those summoners that I frequently use in my daily battles. For now, I decide to purchase a whole Silver set of Chaos Legion Core cards which means mostly should be level 4 summoners. From my perspective, the most important think in battle is the summoner since it could affect the level of the card you use. Therefore, the first thing I should catch up and prepare is the level of all my summoners.

For the reason that why I buy cards instead of renting card from others is that I value these assets in Splinterlands since I really think it is a great game for me as long as I have time to play. So, I have higher priorities of owning them instead of renting them. The ownership of these cards could have more values in the coming future.

Another reason is that we can not mint any DEC from battles anymore. I should save up my DEC to buy more cards to have the ownership, rather than using my DEC to rent cards.

Talking about the summoners in Splinterlands, here comes the most exciting update for me in the coming 2 weeks for THE REBELLION! It has a really cool change in the elements settings.

As we can see, the rebellion cards have new frays which is pretty easy to recognize during battles. And the Zeddica is a 3-Mana common dual elements summoner. The summoner does not have any ability but we can summon both Water and Death monsters. It means we could have infinite possibilities of new types of combinations between the two elements from A/B sets all the way to Rebellion. Also it is a good way to utilize your understanding of each cards during battles.

Moreover, another new summoner Prophet Rosa is a rare 5-mana summoner in Water Element. The new mechanism of choosing ability in battle is the key of winning the battle. We could see who takes advantage of brand new Tactics stage of the battle. After starting the battle, we have to choose between giving 2 Monsters +2 Ranged Attack or giving 1 Monster the Shield ability. I gotta say I am very excited to see and use Rosa in battle.
