Having battles in Splinterlands is always a good choice to spend your time. I enjoy every battles in Splinterlands and had great time in opening Rebellion packs. Normally, I will share anything about Splinterlands on the social media, it could be about cards, abilities, rulesets, battle reviews, End of Season results, or my playing experience.

The topic of this post will mainly introduce little technique that you might not aware off or your have not even thinking about it which is the reward boost rate.

What is the Reward Boost Rate?

As you can see in the picture, the reward boost rate is the focus point that you will earn in every battle that you won. The rate is the basic number of the calculations, and then we have other boosts on top of that such as the the win streak, focus cards you used, gold foils or some specific promo cards. Besides that, joining a powerful guild is also a great choice to have extra 0-20% focus point bonus.

Be aware of the using the starter cards or low level cards will also gives you penalty to decrease your focus point received in the same way. As a result, try to rent all the starter card if possible even at level 1 with 0.1 DEC per day. Since using the starter cards that you don not own will -10% in focus point and low level cards in -10%, so that's approximately -20% which is a disaster for only just one cards.

For me, I play Splinterlands every day and finish the daily focus task. So I collect the previous reward cards in gold foils to make my battles more juicy since my focus point will therefore increase if I win the battle. I suggest you collect those reward cards that frequently used in battles such as Pelacor Bandit, Venari Bonesmith, Venari Crystalsmith, Pelacor Conjurer and so on. There is no harsh requirements on what we should collect in gold foils, but Keep it simple to purchase the cards you love and often use to increase the focus points.

SPS Battle Rewards

In battles, you are not only earning the focus point to unlock your daily chests and seasonal chests. You are also making staked SPS as one of the rewards in a good way. I will show you my sps battles rewards as a reference.

In this way, I can have about 20,000 focus point per victory and about 5 SPS each battle. The staked SPS we earned shares the same calculation formula with focus point which is also based on the Reward Boost Rate.

Currently I am a Gold League player that staying here fore almost half year since I have already collect the full set of reward cards and Chaos Legion edition in Gold League which is 8653 in different card levels and fulfilled the full earning requirements which is the thing that I mentioned above no to have penalty to decrease the focus point.

My Suggest Reward Boost Rate

As the old man says, the sky is no limited. As there is no limited for us in staking SPS, how many SPS should we stake to utilize the mechanism and earnings?

My suggestion is about x10 which is totally enough for us. In this way, we are making almost 1 focus chests from 2 victory which is pretty good. Besides, joining a good guild is also a great way to help you cut the cost since the Guild Bonus also counts for the rate as we can see that 11.56x115%=13.29

For my suggestion, having enough staked sps to increase the Reward Boost Rate to around x10 is enough. You can rent more to make more for sure.

Any Ways to Increase the Staked SPS?

I have already staked about 17,000 SPS in my account. And I also rent some SPS from others weekly. This works in the same way like renting cards from others and we just need to pay DEC for the SPS delegation.

Recently I will rent about 100,000 SPS every week from others and paying like 2100 DEC in total for the period. I make the decision doing this after my calculations since the reward to risk ration is super high in this way and I will show you why.

In fact, I can get about 94 staked SPS every day from winning battles. The 94 SPS equals to about 2400 DEC by swapping the SPS to DEC in the same value which means that I can get back my weekly rental cost for 100K SPS rental in just one day. In other words, the rest 6 days are risk free for me and I can freely enjoy the boost in focus points. Sounds like a good deal, right? Sure, go for it and enjoy the battles.
