Discovery of Splinterlands

I first heard of Splinterlands through YouTube Crypto Banter Channel, this is one of my favorite crypto channels and I was looking to get into something other than Axie Infinity which had already blown up. I first got into Splinterlands very slowly and missed Untamed sell out run up.

By the time I got some more conviction Chaos Legion was starting the presale and vouchers were over $20 and it was too late for the pump.

I first joined Splinterlands in August 2021, in a couple months it will be my three year anniversary with Splinterlands. Basically half of the time Splinterlands has been around.

My accomplishments

I was able to reach Champion 2 in both Modern and Wild league at one point of time, currently I am in Gold League in Modern Format and in Champion 3 in Wild format.

The highest I have ever ranked in Modern format was at number 23 and at number 28 in Wild format. Right now I am 433rd in Modern and 893rd in Wild format.

Future Goals

I am hoping to be around for as long as Splinterlands will be around and hopefully catch the next major crypto bull market and the next major pump in SPS and other Splinterlands assets.

I believe that I am well positioned for the next pump in SPS. If SPS were to reach it's all-time high of $1.07 my stake would be worth $293,257!

Now is a great time to dollar cost average into SPS with SPS only 4% off it's all time low...

My goal is to double my SPS stake in the next couple years and I am actively working towards it earning it via ranked play and SPS staking rewards as well as converting half of the HIVE I earn for these posts into SPS tokens and staking them.

Another goal of mine is to max out the current soul bound rewards before they go out of print. As you can see I am well on my way towards this goal (All of my regular foil common rarity cards as well as most of the rare rarity cards are maxed out):

I still have some work to do on my Epics and Legendary reward cards. It is great that we now have specific rarity draws so that I can save all of my glint tokens for Epic and Legendary cards:

My advice for beginners and to those who want to join Splinterlands

If I were starting Splinterlands this year, I would focus on three things:

1. Purchase 80,000 SPS about $997
2. Purchase Chaos Legion and Modern Rewards sets: about $930
3. Play in the Modern League to maximize your SPS rewards
