First Place on Modern Silver Leaderboard and Season Review
Introduction
Last season I decided to do another experiment with playing in the Modern League. I must say that my experience has exceeded my expectations. I have been able to take the first place on the Modern Silver leaderboard and SPS token earnings were more then expected especially when I hit the Diamond league, but we will get into that a little further in this Season Report.
As you can see from the image above my Glint earnings were over three hundred thousand glint which compares to the 290,412 Glint tokens last season. I would attribute the increase to the better win rates in both Wild and Modern leagues as I was able to optimize my play between both Modern and Wild.
I suspect that next season I will be starting in the Modern Diamond three league and my SPS and Glint tokens would be much better from the start so the results will be even better than this season. As you can see I also got a bonus of 150,000 Glint tokens for earning the first place on the Modern Silver leaderboard!
Season Summary
Overall it was a great season for me and I would attribute my better season experience to the great win rate in Modern league which came in at over 66% and ability to play strategically in Wild and increase my win rate from 49% last season to 54% this season.

As you can see this season my battles were almost evenly spread between Wild and Modern, though I did play a few more battles in Wild as once I reached the top of the Diamond One league I wanted to go next season for the Diamond Modern Leaderboard, so I stopped and finished the rest in Wild.

As you can see I was able to earn about thirty percent more SPS in modern despite having less modern battles. The actual earnings in modern are actually almost three times those in Wild, but since I started out in the Silver league, my earnings were significantly reduced until I got to the Diamond league in Modern.

What jumps out is an increase of almost 60K glint per season and that Wild Ranked SPS earnings went down by about 300 SPS but then I added around 1300 SPS in Modern ranked earnings.
Reward draws purchased
This season I was not able to get all the Medium Chests that I wanted to get because I ran out of Glint. Hopefully the extra 150K Glint from the prize for the first place in Modern Silver Leaderboard will be helpful in getting all of the tranche one chests in Medium.

Nothing extraordinary in terms of cards, but it is a nice and solid progress towards maxing out my new reward cards.

As you can see I went through all of the Silver, Gold and Diamond leagues this season, so I earned a lot of league advancement chests in Modern!

As you can see I earned quite a bit of reward cards from the league advancement chests and that definitely helps
Closing notes
The Modern experiment was definitely a success in my opinion and I am looking forward to making a run for the Diamond Leaderboard in Modern this season. I don't think I will be able to take the first place there, but a finish in top 25 would be great.
Above is the chart of my SPS earnings and as you can see I am going towards the record earnings of SPS last season. I am hoping to earn even more SPS tokens this season to continue stacking toward my new goal of one million SPS tokens staked!
