📖 Introduction

This season was very good for me in both Modern and Survival Leagues. In the Modern League I have achieved Champion One rating earlier than ever and I have achieved my all time highest rating of 5060 as you can see in the chart below:

In Survival Mode I had a pretty good season as well where I started from a rating of zero and went all the way to Champion One in Survival in just one season.

My SPS earnings were also pretty good, but we will get into more detail further down in this report, but here is a high level chart that shows that I had my fourth best season ever in terms of SPS earnings:

⚔️ Battle Results

As you can see this season I have decided to focus exclusively on playing in Modern. And if we compare my performance this season to last season you will see that I have achieved a significantly higher rating of 5060 as opposed to 4740 last season but placed just two spots higher:

I am completely happy with my win rate this season as I have spent more time in Champion One and faced a lot of scholars who are professional Splinterlands players and are really difficult to defeat. Here is how my win rate has changed since last season:

You will also notice that this season I spent 175,000 Glint tokens on purchasing energy and last season I spent only 50,000 Glint tokens on purchasing energy. This has partially accounted for more battles this season. Another reason is that I was much more lucky with energy this season in chests compared to last season. This season I got 72 energy and last season only 59 energy, so chest luck accounted for 13 more battles.

Energy cost at Champion Three is the cheapest for me at the start of the season and last season I bought 10 energy at 50,000 Glint tokens each and this season I bought 35 energy for 175,000. So together these to factors accounted for 48 more battles this season I fought 92 more modern battles so the rest must have came out from the timing of my battles and length of the season differences perhaps.

Another interesting note about last season in Modern Champion is that the leaderboard was a lot more competitive. Last Season I placed at 48th position with 4740 rating and this season you had to have over 5000 rating to just place in the top fifty! If you notices Mario04 has achieved 5020 rating and didn't even make it into the top 50 on the Modern Champion leaderboard.

There were a total of 16 non-scholars in the top fifty so on that leaderboard I placed at number 12. Top three non-scholars in Modern were:

If we compare my SPS earnings this season to last season one thing that really stands out are much higher SPS earnings from Modern Ranked battles. My Validator earnings increased by just around 200 SPS to about 5,550 and my Modern Ranked earnings increased from 4,872 SPS last season to 7,592 SPS this season making Modern Ranked SPS earnings once again my top source of SPS earnings.

As you can see all other earnings were slightly higher which is probably due to the longer duration of this Splinterlands season compared to last Splinterlands season. The only significant difference from last season was in Modern Ranked rewards and it was probably due to more battles and higher SPS amount per win as I have entered Champion One earlier than ever this season.

Glint tokens were a bit more interesting. You can see that I have earned 183,526 Glint tokens from Survival. That is a good amount, but I should also receive 250K Glint from the special event after filling out the survey like I did in the past three out of four seasons:

Modern Ranked Glint Rewards are obviously much higher at 671,322 Glint plus 150,000 Glint for placing in top 50 on the Modern Champion leaderboard.
