Here the key to winning this battle was nerfing opponent's magic attack and using a magic reflecting tank, though Spirit Hoarder didn't play a key role here it was an important member of the team

The Strategy

In this Splinterlands battle, I employed a specific strategy to outmaneuver my opponent. The first step was to reduce the health and magic damage of the opponent's team by utilizing the Thaddius Brood summoner. This helped to give me an early advantage on the battlefield.

To further solidify my defense, I deployed Djinn Muirat as my magic reflecting tank. This formidable opponent was able to withstand enemy magic attacks while also dishing out its own brutal magic attack against high mana monsters.

To add to my offensive capabilities, I also included the redemption monster Venari Spellsmith.

In addition to these tactics, I also took advantage of the Noxious Fumes ruleset by including Revealer in my lineup. This card is immune to poison and was able to play a key role in the battle.

By combining all these strategies, I was able to come out on top and secure a victory. In Splinterlands, having a well-thought-out strategy is often the key to success on the battlefield.

The Summoner

Thaddius Brood is a summoner that I particularly like in Splinterlands. One of the reasons I like him is because he reduces the health of all enemy monsters by one if they have more than one hp. This may not seem like much, but it can be a huge advantage, especially in the lower leagues. Thaddius can deal significant damage to multiple monsters before you even start playing your cards.

Also in an all magic ruleset Thaddius is particularly useful as it nerfs opponents magic damage for the whole team.

Overall, if you're looking for a summoner that can help you gain an advantage on the battlefield, Thaddius is definitely worth considering.

1st Slot - Magic Reflecting Tank

Djinn Muirat is a legendary chaos monster in the death unit that I really enjoy playing in Splinterlands. For nine mana, this powerful monster can be summoned onto the battlefield and deal a devastating magic attack against high mana opponents. In addition to its strong offensive abilities, Djinn also boasts void armor that reduces the damage taken from enemy magic attacks, making it a formidable opponent. If you're looking for a high mana monster that can dish out serious damage and withstand magical attacks, Djinn Muirat is definitely worth considering for your team.

2nd Slot - Poison fast magic attack monster

If you're looking for a Death card that can quickly dismantle your enemy's team, Venari Bonesmith is definitely worth considering. This card has the ability to leech life from the enemy while also applying a powerful poison effect, making it a lethal combination that can quickly decimate an opponent's monsters. With Venari Bonesmith in your arsenal, you'll have a powerful tool to help you dominate your battles in Splinterlands.

3rd Slot - Stun Immunity and Reflection Shield Monster

Revealer is a card that offers a set of unique abilities in Splinterlands. At level one, it is the only card other than the Beta card Pit Ogre that can stun the enemy. But what sets Revealer apart is its ability to launch magic attacks from the back row and not take any reflection damage from enemy magic reflecting tanks.

Additionally in this ruleset Revealer is particularly useful since there is a Noxious Fumes rule and all monsters start the battle poisoned. Revealer is immune to poison so it is the perfect card to play in this ruleset.

If you're looking for a card that offers versatility and the element of surprise, Revealer is definitely worth considering.

4th Slot - Triage Monster

Spirit Hoarder is a neutral monster in the Chaos Legion set, and it's a fantastic card with a variety of amazing abilities like triage, dispel, and cleanse which make it a valuable asset in any battle. What's even better is that it's one of the best and most affordable legendary neutral cards available in the set, and it's also one of the cheapest legendary cards to level up. However, don't let the low price fool you, this card is extremely useful and will only become more valuable in the coming days due to its versatile use cases.

Spirit Hoarder is particularly great for low or medium mana matches, as it only costs 3 mana and has a good amount of health , along with the amazing ability of triage at level 1. Whether you're a new player or an experienced one, Spirit Hoarder is definitely worth adding to your collection. Its incredible abilities, combined with its affordability, make it a card that you won't want to overlook.

5th Slot - Magic Attack Redemption Monster

Venari Spellsmith is a magic attack monster with Dispel and Redemption. I picked it particularly for it's Redemption ability in order to try to kill as many monsters as possible which were already weakened by Thaddius Brood and hopefully poison

The Battle

My opponent chose an interesting lineup. The summoner doesn't add much besides the speed and Doctor Blight's poison ability isn't particularly useful as all of the monsters are already poisoned. Djinn Oshannus is a great choice due to void and high speed combined with phase. This must be why they went with Kelya as a summoner.

After the first Round we see that all of the enemy monsters are on the verge of dying taking enhanced magic reflection from my reflection tank. Poison applied between rounds will finish all of them off with the exception of Djinn Oshannus.
