How to earn in Splinterlands?
As of today there are many ways to earn in Splinterlands. But before that you must purchase the Spellbook first to enable those features. Let me just state a few ways on how to earn in Splinterlands to give you an idea why it's not only fun but it's also rewarding to play Splinterlands today.
Earning Dark Energy Crystals (DEC)
Players earn DEC everytime they win Rank Battles and this goes higher everytime you climb in ranks. There are also some factors which can multiply your DEC per win. These multipliers are the types of cards you are using during the battle and your winstreak which boosts your earnigs significantly every win. Below is a sample of how much DEC per win can a player get in the higher leagues.
Players also earn DEC through Daily Quests Chests and Season Ending Rewards Chests. More chests are rewarded for players in Higher Ranks. The DEC's from the chests that you receive can go up to $598(based on todays market value). Below is a sample of opening 1 chests that provides a large amount of DEC(luck based)
Earning through Cards
Renting and Selling Cards you collect may also earn you DEC's and with todays Splinterlands growing community the demands for these cards are also high. Players may also receive cards from Daily Quest Chests and Season Ending Rewards Chests. From Common cards up to Gold Foiled Legendary cards everyone who finishes their quests daily and receive chests has a chance to get those wonderful rewards.

You can also earn SPS or Splintershards through Airdrop and Staking. SPS Airdrop is received by people daily. The amount of SPS will depend on the game assets you have. Battles in Splinterlands
Splinterlands fast paced battles is what separate it from others. The game is centered in drafting the right cards to be put on the battlefield in accordance to some rules set which are always changing every battle. Once both players completed their drafts their cards will be put in the battlefield to fight automatically where they can both watch who'll win. They also have an option to view the results immediately and or watch game 3x the normal speed. Battles are recorded and can be played and shared for players to learn more about what happened in their game.
