Hello Hivepeeps! My entry for this week have a different art style from my previous entries because of a story that touched my heart. I hope you like this because I really did my best in doing this.

This is the story of Plado and his family who is murdered in front of him, yet he strived for his dream.

Lore

For a Splinter packed full of grunting savages and wandering primitives, the Burning Lands produces a surprising number of geniuses. One such genius is Plado Emberstorm, the powerful Efreet summoner who has graduated from every school in the Burning Lands. Years ago, his privileged childhood was brought to a crashing halt when his parents were murdered in front of him over nothing more than a Heliostone. Young Plado became obsessed with invention, as though he had a plan to create a machine that would bring his parents back to him. His heart, in spite of being forever broken, is kind, true and generous. All of Plado’s inventions are put to use for the good of the people. The Torch looks with scorn on Emberstorm’s benevolence, but they never interfere with the work of their most prized summoner.

Process

I started by thinking of ways how to make Plado Emberstorm be with his family again, and this idea came in my mind (we're really lucky we can capture moments and keep it on a photograph🥺.

Then focusing on the photos and the frame, it should not look so old because Plado is a great inventor

This part is so cute,I really hope this happened on Plado's lifetime. Also I made it that his Father wear his signature goggles here, I want to make it look like it's the only memento he got from his Father.

Now I started making the picture of the renowned inventor and summoner Plado.

He looks goodddd , I'm crying 😭

And here is the careful drawing of Plado's goggles. ( I don't want to ruin it)

Here I needed to adjust the placement of the Picture frames and the goggles for the table.

And then the light, (the lantern)

Yeah he's handsome 💪

I made his parents have the same color as him, so he get the black color of hair from his dad and pink from his mom.

Background of Pictures makes it much nicer for me.

The flame on the lantern of course!

Then last is the shadow , then this is the outcome.

I used IbisPaintX application on my phone. Soon I know I can afford a laptop haha.

Well that is all hope you guys like my artwork. And I'm sorry if I sound a bit of overacting on the process , it's just that the story Plado Emberstorm really made me emotional. It's sad to lose a family member, I think it is much worse losing your family just because of something that is not worth as their lives. Rest in piece to Plado's Mom and Dad. And I'm really happy that Plado grown as a good person. I wish he could make that machine to bring back his parents so that he would not be broken for his lifetime.
