Hello Fellow Hivers! I am here again with my entry for this week's art contest. My entry for this week is about the mythical horses of Light and Death Splinters,

Sacred Unicorn and Corrupted Pegasus

While doing this art I think of them as friends of the past but one became corrupted by darkness or death which made them apart from each other (cliffs apart).

So here is how I made this.

Process

I first started of course with the sketch of what picture I have in my mind

After this I began polishing each parts

Corrupted Pegasus' wings and some of its details

And yes of course the cliff 😂

Then after this I put color on them because I don't like it dull when I'm doing something, even if it is a little I want them to have life.

And now that I am satisfied by the colors, its time for the background!

Background Time

First I put the moon 🌕 No, that's not a plain circle that's the moon...

Then clouds ☁️

Then mountains 🏔️

And now the trees, by making these trees at first they are just sticks then I realized that they don't look like trees so I made them feel like trees HAHAHAHA What you feel is more important than what you look, remember that mates

And for it to not have dull spaces or empty spaces I put a village like dots and lines there.

Now to fix that big circle there with clouds, I put scars so it will look more like the moon 🌚

Coloring

And now is the real coloring process.
Starting from the moon 🌖

To the clouds ☁️

To the sky

To the mountains (starting to sing to the fireeee)

Then the grass

The whole cliff

And you may not notice the lights at the village

Shadow and Highlights

After all of this is the shadows and highlights of the two monsters to make them more realistic, because they are the main characters in this picture😁

Woooo that wings look nice, salute to those who made the designs of this beautiful creatures

I would like to have that hair please 🙏
