Completed all the Legenary Cards in RiftWaterchers... Finally added two key beasts

Getting to 100% Bronze

It dawned on me but I had quite a bit of ways to go to get my account to be 100% modern bronze. My focus was on riftwaters and chaos and ignoring the cards will be phased out upon the new release. As you can tell in the recent weeks I've done some serious investing into my deck to get my account to be complete. This is key as once these cards become a print in more widely used and needed, I expect the prices to go up. I don't want to be stuck again not having key cards like cron or llama and not being able to afford them.

  • Gaps
I have some gas in my collection that may not get closed. I have several epic cards that probably require too many copies for me to upgrade for the one additional health. While I would love to upgrade them, I am feeling the need to start to save capital for the new set release so I'm able to buy cards off the market for that as well. Outside of this I think I will have all of the cards available for my play, and we'll take a look at upgrading those that I can.

New Additions

Twilight only added two cards, this was a very expensive two card to purchase. These legendary cards are truly rare with a very thin market and probably a fairly high demand overall. I added both a sea Wreck, and immolation

  • $15 Sea Wreck
If I remember correctly, I was able to get Sea Wreck for right around $15. This seem to be the going price and was fairly steady. At first I wasn't sure how often I would use him, but I'm finding him very useful when using Possibilus the Wise, and other matches where it's extremely melee focused like Melee mayhem.

  • $20 Immolation
Immolation was harder for me to get as the price skyrocketed from 15 to 30, and I waited a long time for it to come back down to 20 before I pulled the trigger out of fear oh another liquidity issue with no cards for sale or very few cards at a high price. This card is exceptionally useful and I can't believe I waited this one to get it. Yes it's a 12-minute card but the benefits it provides are ridiculous. It's hitting really hard with four magic damage and hitting fairly early with the three speed. While it's nine health is really good, the fact that it has shield and become the ultimate rear tank to protect against the sneaky pesky sneak teams it's amazing. I recently had a match where it was able to fend off a double sneak attack team while dropping hammers under tanks of four magic combined with the rest of my team. If I had a lesser monster, and one with a smaller health and armor it would have been taken out in the first two second round.

Total Legendary

It feels great to get all the legendary completed. I will say that my play style tends to be very legendary heavy. I find myself inserting these cards very frequently into the lineups and can't imagine moving forward without having them available. They can make or break most teams and real sets.

Why Legendary are important

The higher mana matches are incredibly dependent upon your legendary cards. These tend to be your highest mana cards, your highest damage per round cards, and those with the most abilities that can really shine. Well they can be used for lower mana matches. They are really fun to stack in a 99 man of match with as many neutral and legendary cards as you can across the sets you're playing. One of these can make a difference between a win or a loss depending on who you're playing and what they have.
