dCity life - Designing My Own City.

If you're not aware, dcity.io is a game and I have blockchain based on owning nfts that allow you to build your own city. It's much like the old sim cities except for needed to design your own City bounce It using nfts that you can always sell we're upgrading to other cards. The income earned in game is called SIM. Very many benefits to acquiring the Sim and holding as much as you can.

The power of sim is multifold but one of the biggest in-game mechanisms is to allow you to vote for who is the next president. The president gets to set taxes which will greatly impact how much your city does or does not earn for the president's tenure. The more power you hold and have the more voting weight you have.

The few, the proud, the SIM millionaires.

There's another more rare class of DC players and some holders. And those are the SIM millionaires. These are the players that have a 30-day average of holding more than 1 million Sim in either or the liquidity pool or liquid on high engine. You might ask yourself why one might hold so much Sim but there are a number of benefits.

The Benefits

  • Daily payout in Hive for the 30 day average of SIM holdings
  • Access to dCity Rains - For Giveaways
  • Voting access to give voice to the direction of dCity enhancements.

The payouts from holding a million Sim range daily based on how much Sim is held by others. On average you get anywhere from 0.5 to 65 per 1 million Sim power you have. Having 1 million Sim power has additional benefits.

Being a sim millionaire always still gives you access to vote on the direction of the development of the city enhancements and game direction. This is one of the few games that I have seen that allows large stakeholders a direct impact on the direction of the game. While not a free-for-all, there are typically one to three options of potential directions or change that might be made, and voting is done by the millionaires to determine the priority. It's all done in discord with plenty of q&a to understand.

Last but not least one of the benefits of being a Sim millionaire is the ability to participate in giveaways exclusive to the club. These giveaways are typically pretty valuable, and occur fairly regularly.

$$ Cost to Become a Millionaire

Becoming a millionaire is neither cost prohibitive nor easy. As you can see the cost of buying 1 million Sim today would cost you 410 Hive. All of substantial investment for some, in the world of crypto it is relatively small. The only problem with buying 1 million Sim is it would take an additional 30 days the average 1 million or more before you gained access to the club. You might have to double the investment or more to get there as quickly as you really want to.

Interesting side note I believe I heard the other day that there's only 330 million Sim currently, and considering the number of large holders there are, there is much less liquid than one would imagine. So even if everyone only held 1 million, there could only be $330 millionaires. Given the current shareholders who own 1 million or more, I think it's highly doubtful we could get even half or quarter of that without significantly driving up the price of sim.

The Giveaways!!!

This is a prime example of one of the giveaways run just for those members of The Sim millionaire club. They're going to give five chaos legion packs to each of two winners. That's 10 chaos legion packs given away to a very small group of majority stakeholders in the game.

It's pretty simple to participate we just put our names in the discord server and wait for the wheel of luck to strike us lucky or unlucky.

Better to be lucky than good, # Winning

Boom winner winner chicken dinner I managed to squeak out a victory again. It's been a long time since I have one anything, and I was starting to question why the wheel of chance hated me so much. But after when he needs five packs, I will just have to remind myself that I do win occasionally, and gleefully participate for free the next opportunity I get.

Pack Opening

Well once you win five packs I had a choice to make, either sell the packs and buy cards I needed, or risk everything and open them.

Last I looked 5Ks legion packs on hive engine would have gotten me about $9, which would have been a substantial amount to invest in individual cards that I need to improve my splinter lands account. But the allure of opening five packs with full potions and potential to get a gold foil legendary or epic or summoner was just too much for me to pass up.

Oh man, another mediocre opening of the cards. Well I did pull the gold foil common, it wasn't what I was hoping for. It looks like it would have been better off selling the packs and buying what I needed. But there is no fun in taking a safe route every day, and since these were free packs I figured I should open them.

I think being a SIM holder is a no brainer.

Daily payouts in HIVE, Access to giveaways that have a big value, and the ability to give direction to the game (if you play) is huge. Not to mention the APR for holding SIM right now is great, and you don't have to be locked or powered up.

I hope to see many of you join me over in the Millionaires club.
