Making Significant Investments to my Splinterlands Deck in March - Spent $263 USD

Feeling like time was running out -

Well I've been putting this off for quite some time, not the post as much as finally getting some of these painful purchases out of the way. I have been generally focusing on getting the common rare and epic cards into my lineups, as well as upgrading the cheap common and rear cards to go foil along the way so my lineups can be as pretty as possible. Finally hit me that the time was now and that these cards were likely to only get more expensive three to nine months down the road. Clearly no one knows the future card prices but generally as things go up print they become more valuable as the scarcity goes up.

• Packs Sold out
  Not to mention chaos packs are sold out, they're still quite a few coming out in daily and season rewards but even that will come to an end eventually. Packs are going to become more scarce and I think the price will eventually start to climb back north of the base price of packs. I expect to see a general crunch in the card market in general as reward cards are non-transferable for the foreseeable future leaving only rift and Chaos cards for those modern players.

• New Cards Coming "Soon"
  I'm sure they'll be another series of cards coming again this summer his untamed will be transitioned out and the new cards will be transitioned in. I will need to start to save my Capital to make an investment for those cards as well as well as ensuring I get enough of these promo cards that hopefully continue to drop.

• Still Need Riftwatchers Cards
  I still have a significant amount of work to do with rift watchers. I don't have any of the summoners yet as they are my next most expensive cards. I was actually surprised when looking over my collection how many cards I don't even have one copy of and how many copies of cars I'm using are a single bcx even if they're common. I hardly have any of them in gold foil and I need to rectify that before the summer.

Account of Cards Added

As you can see I did some damage. These are the cards that were clearly some of the more expensive ones that took longer to save up for. I attended to roll all of my rental income and winnings into buying as many cards as quickly as I could. This means I'm always buying the next lowest price card that I need, and think I will use regularly in a lineup. There are a few cards that I have not been buying but only mostly because I don't see them being as a default choice in GameStop yet. That will probably change in the future as cards get added or removed.

• All Legendary Added
  Clearly every single card I added in March was a legendary card. They ranged from $7 to $29 and honestly have done a lot to really increase my team. I am still playing bronze level cards and I've been sitting in gold two to gold one for most of this season I think the summoners have the biggest impact and allow me to continue to beat full silver league text. Clearly it's pretty rare for me to be beating up on gold decks but I am usually facing higher ranked cards in these summoners provider field edge. Actually most of these legendaries have been proving exceptionally useful and powerful cards like ancient redwood and Corelle lurker can be an absolute monster in the right lineups and can provide real advantage. I also really needed to add Queen Mycelia, since it's a low mana magic powered monster that provides protection. It's key to bolster my little league Earth matches.

• Still Need To Up Grade to GF and Bronze riftwatchers
  I think I have a significant yet smaller investment to making rift watchers. If I choose to do gold foil common and rare it will tend to get a bit more expensive but not unobtainable. I think I'm going to continue to use some of my post rewards towards this goal. But I feel like I have a bit more time to get this one completed
• Very Happy to have this completed. Collection Looking Good
  Overall my collection is looking pretty good. I'm trying to get as complete of a collection as I can without including the crazy expensive promo cards. I mostly looking to complete a bronze level account for modern starting with chaos. Now that my legendary collection is complete, I will move on to filling in other holes but I have as well as upgrading to gold foils. I think the gold foil car is really hold their value long-term.
