Season 107 Splinterlands Recap - Level 2 Summoners Pull Some Big Rewards!

It's another successful season, it's crazy how fast these seasons are turning over. They used to think that seasons took forever to get to the season rewards and now I feel like they're sneaking up on me faster and faster. Some of that is probably to do with getting distracted with brawls, and the kids are getting busy here and busier and next thing you know I have to slam a bunch of games in at some point to try to make sure I manage my energy correctly as well as earn some chests.
Performance

Overall I think the biggest takeaway for me is that Walmart performance was okay this is the first time in a while that my win-loss ratio dipped below one to one. Well it is 0.99, I certainly felt the struggle throughout much the season to get consistent wins, to string wings together, and compete.
Full disclosure I am playing a bronze deck in gold. This has not been an issue before, but I am starting to see a consistent number of level 45 summoners as my opponents which would be silver league accounts, as well as a few level six in a boat. I am still doing fairly well against level 4 summoners but sometimes the accounts are just too strong for me to overcome due to the increased level stats of the cards doing more damage and quicker along with a higher speed to get the attack advantage. I think I'm going to have to reconsider my approach for future seasons
Season Rewards

I did grind really really hard this season and tried to stay in gold league as much as possible. I focused on trying to get about five gold chests a day for the last 10 days of the season as well as trying to get somewhere between 45 and 50 season chests. This season I think it really really paid off and give me some big rewards.
Highlights
- 2 Packs two packs are always nice. They are going to be kept until a later date. I'm going to try to hold on to them until next release packs, or until they are significantly more valuable. Considering the number that were burned at you print, I think it's always a good idea to hold these packs in the future. I believe it's going to be my long-term strategy overall is to take free packs I get and to just hold on to them versus selling them are opening them.
- 2 EPIC Gold Foil I got really lucky with my gold foils this season, considering I got a chest at head two gold foil epic cards. Not to mention I think this is one of the better epic cards because it provides immunity which is a fairly rare ability in my opinion.
- 5 Common Gold Foil I also managed to pull five other gold foil common cards throughout the season. Will not a massive number of gold bowl cards considering the number of chests I had, it was certainly still a decent overall average to pull and make me feel pretty good for my rng.
- 2 Legenary these legendary are going to have a massive impact for me. I have been starting to face against these legendaries in patches and they are super powerful and renewable abilities really start to change the game around causing some of those monsters that weren't as useful to be super useful. I'm hoping my luck continues and I can continue to get more legendary to the Future seasons to fill up my teams
Biggest Wins
- Kulu Mastermind this just makes water in absolute monster melee opportunity game. The fact that it also has the ability to turn a non-attacking monster into one with two melee damage is huge in certain situations. In some rules that it'll make some of those one or two man of cards exceptionally powerful.
- Izaiar another great card, considering it will be in the life splinter with void is something that is desperately needed to counter Earth's strong attacks. Well it does have taunt meaning it takes a significant damage, it's high health of 12 and two magic attack make it a really well balanced card for me.
- GF Evelyn Auvera again I'll just reiterate the two gold foil epics will be huge for me down the road. Even when it comes time to sell I think these will be some of my most valuable cards that I've gotten.
Earnings Stats and Graphs

Earnings my earnings seem to be leveling out maybe around $5 mark. This of course values all of the soulbound card to zero so my only income will be from sps, and packs. It's a little misleading but I don't think there's a better way right now.
SPS my total SPF earned is within the range of normal and slightly elevated from the prior four season average. Overall I don't earn a significant amount of SPS to where I think it is an impact on my plans. I will not increase or decrease my gameplay in an attempt to earn more.
Cards
Cool cards was highlight for me. Well my total cards were down the prior season I had a much better mix. Getting epics and legendary are crucial to My overall experience and a very hard to come by. Also getting a bigger variety of cards is nice for the ability to level them up. Also adding more gold foil Commons and epics along the way will definitely help a long-term account growth.
Win/Loss and Chests Won

Overall summary
Overall number of Chess I want to season is probably down in total considering I used to win a very significant number of silver chests, but the value of the gold has been doing for the well for me. I was originally planning to stay into gold and just continue to get somewhere around the 75 to 100 gold chests for the season range but given the increased in my opponent's strengths I'm feeling I might need to go down to silver. All of this was before I got such good rewards this season and now I'm conflicted about what league to play in
Might need to move to gold 2 by the end of the season
I tried to move down to gold too so I could reset to silver and reevaluate what season chests I wanted to earn this season whether it be gold or silver. Bad news was I ran out of energy to enter matches and still need to lose 40 to 60 ranking points to get into gold too. I'll have to practice this in much earlier next to season and move down prior to running out of energy.
I think my goal will be to end this season in Gold 2 and unless rewards are amazing again, probably play all of next season playing for silver chests and hopefully have a much higher win loss ratio that allows me to earn 10 to 15 silver chests a day versus three to five gold chests a day.
Look at my account and tell me how to improve.
I made a massive investment last season I spent $263 on legendary cards to complete many of the holes. This season I am working on getting all the common and rare gold foil rift watchers cards before moving on to completing regular epics. After that I will take a look at potential upgrades for chaos legion core either epics or rares to Gold il but I need like summoners.
