Splinterlands BATTLE Highlight Post - Featuring Born Again combined with Equal Opportunity and Double Strike Cards

Featuring Bronze League Summoner and Monsters in Action!
I'm back to share another battle highlight post and give some strategy and insights into my thought process when I'm setting up a team to play in silver or bronze League matchups with my level two bronze League account. I tried to show situations and instances where I am able to compete with equal level of cards or above and some of the thoughts and reasoning behind my matches.
This match has two different rules since the highlight, the first being equal opportunity or car to attack the monsters on the enemies line up with the lowest health, and rebirth. Rebirth allows each month to be reborn once with one health. Rebirth is great for monsters that provide martyr or other boosts and having your enemies cards reborn is also a great boost for any card that has bloodlust best shared last week. Opportunity means that the lowest health cards will be taken out and you can use that to your advantage to have your enemy attack the cards that you want them to first and override other options.

CHALLENGE RULES
RULESET: Equal Opportunity and Rebirth
Description: "Monsters with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Monster with the lowest health."
Description: All Monsters have the Rebirth ability.

Reasons Why I like it
I think that these matches where there's two or three rule sets really create some interesting combinations and lead to a different level of thinking. You can plan out your opponent to tax and actually have those attacks benefit you in a way that is hard to replicate in a regular match, and in fact them attacking first might actually give you a higher chance to win.

MANA: 28
Ruleset: Equal Opportunity: All units gain the opportunity ability which allows them to attack the unit with the lowest health on the enemy team.
Ruleset: All Monsters have the Rebirth ability.
SPLINTERS: Fire, Earth, Dragon
Initial Rule Set and Mana Gameplay Thoughts
- Rulesets
I think that these two rules that's together will combine to create a match favored by abilities such as double strike, martyr, or monsters with high armor that'll be fully replaced when they are reborn. - Mana
Amana is actually kind of low for me, with 28 mana I think I've been used to hire matches and I feel like I'm getting limited. It might just be the most of the cards I prefer to use are higher and when combined with higher mana summoners it gets eaten up fairly quickly - Splinters
Splinters are fairly limited in this match as well with only half of them available. Between fire earth and dragon I think it'll likely be a fire or Earth heavy lineup, as I struggle to find good dragon monsters to use given the manicure.
Summoner LOBB LOWLAND
I went with LOB lowland because I wanted to be able to pull in some cards that had bloodlust. Most of my options for a bloodlust card are stuck in Gladius cards and therefore I needed to use in this as a seminarFirst Position VENARI MARKSRAT
Lowest health cards can attack first, and I want Markscrat attacked first. Each time it dies I'll give a martyr boost to grunt making it a double attack five damage 5-speed melee machine.Second Position GRUND
We can attack from this position given the fact that has opportunity after it gets its boost it becomes a raging monster that will be very difficult to take out and will do significant damageThird Position KATRELABA GOBSON
This is my second double strike monster lineup. With opportunity and a double strike it means it's likely to secure a knockout bloodlust and start all the stats rolling and building. I'm hoping it gets a knockout before it's targeted by attack so it gets a boost to its health.
- Fourth Position FUNGUS FLINGER
I probably should have put this one in third position quite honestly. If I put it in the third position it's more likely to be attacked before Katrelba but this is going to be the third or fourth monster targeted - Fifth Position FUNGUS FIEND
I put it at the end so there's no trample opportunities as it will be the second card targeted. It's just back here just so good damage before my primary cards get attacked and it allows Katrelba time to start accumulating stance

Opponent Lineup & Match Play
- Summoner OBSIDIAN
very traditional summoner used for my opponent. I actually find it quite honest they used a seminary that is a high amount of cost will only using one monster that has magic. Not quite sure if it's the only one they have or if they just picked it out of it - UNICORN MUSTANG
Solar choice and I love unicorn mustang and most matches. I don't think it has its true benefit in this match as it's not well suited for opportunity and reborn due to his high health, unless they were anticipating a high magic opponent team they wanted to counter - ULOTH DHAMPRIR
A very heavy hitter dealing for damage in this level with stun. It could be a great card and knock out some important cards for me or at least reduced to turn if it wasn't quite so slow. I think the slow speed might be a big issue - URAEUS
Solid sneak attack choice card with armor to protect itself. When it gets reborn it'll have an armor again not a bad choice. - VENARI SPELLSMITH
A very smart play, that pesky ability to remove all the boosts of my martyr is quite annoying and it will reset my cards back to baseline for both bloodlust and martyr.
Round 1

Restaurants starts I think I look fairly good although my opponent will do some pretty heavy damage and it all depends on how much damage I can do early before I get dispelled and lose the boosts.
Ass round one starts, my strategy is working out quite well. Grund scores the first knockout by double striking Ureas quickly following by a series of knockouts by both teams. Markscrat get knocked out triggering a martyr then followed by Venrai Spellsmith, and Markscrat again. Things are a bit chaotic and hectic but I do manage to secure the second knockout of Ureas the second time in eliminated from the match.
Round 2

Things are looking a lot different and are looking heavily in my favor. I will have two double attacks resulting in 16 damage down to my closing team before they even get a turn. First up is grunt who delivers 10 damage to unicorn mustang followed by Katrelba do a text once and secures another bloodlust to actually make the damage dealt seventeen. I'm pretty sure the match was already over we just need to play another round. Adding insult to injury, fungus-plinger knocks out unicorn mustang and rebirth is triggered. This means one more hit and it's knocked out.
Round 3

As soon as round three starts grund knocks it out as well as Uloth . After the rebirth is quickly cleaned up by Katrelba. And decisive victory. Take a look at these cards and these cards are a mix of much higher level cards than my own. There's a level three and four rare followed by a level 3 epic. These cards are almost maxed over Silver lake and they were taken out handily by bronze League team.
Thoughts - and Chances to Win Again

Not much to say here other than the way this played out there is no way to lose. I don't think there's any attack order given the speed differentials that will let RNG play a factor here. I think my selection was far superior to my opponent and I love the double strike with double cards with martyr giving a big impact to my team.

Once you power up Grund he becomes a nasty force to contend with! Very well played! I've being playing mainly in gold so my Lobb Lowland just isn't quite strong enough yet, but finally getting close. My rewards this last week have pretty much stunk, very few cards and tons of potions!
I am using Grind so much more with the Martyr cards. Before he was good but I icorn was almost always better with void. Now, a boost or two and ground smashes away opponents and gets healed nicely!
I have barley played this season. Been super busy and choosing a few posts and comments vs games. I just don't have hours to play anymore I guess. !PIZZA !LUV
