Splinterlands Monster Highlight - Featuring Flagulon Reine

Featuring Bronze League Summoner and Monsters in Action!
I'm back with another awesome monster highlight where I pulled off a victory that I thought was worthy of sharing. This weekend excited to show one of the legendary Gladius cards I've been able to pick up and using battle. Flagulon Reine is a powerful card I can be dominating if it starts knocking on opponents.

Weekly Challenge -FLAGULON REINE

Edition: GLADIUS
Rarity: LEGENDARY
Element: WATER
Attack: MAGIC
Abilities: BLAST
Abilities" BLOODLUST
Health: 6
Speed: 2
Attack: 2
Armor:
Reasons Why I like it
I think it's pretty straightforward the power of this card. A magic attack type card that has both blast and bloodlust means it has a lot of opportunity to start to build its stats. It can build stats through blood loss on either the primary attack, or the blast damage it deals both of which can be significant. It also has six base health which is a solid number to start with. The only drawbacks are it has no armor of any type, and it only has two speed.

SPLINTERS: Water, Death
Initial Rule Set and Mana Gameplay Thoughts
- Rulesets
I don't know if the rule set of target practice will do much of an impact giving how limited demand is. But knowing that any rain attack in the second row will attack each other versus the first card might be useful - Mana
14 minute has always been extremely challenging for me and it is tough to find an effective play style. - Splinters
Unfortunately we're only left with two splinters water and death. Depending on the death summoner used it's likely to reduce one mana of health and what magic attack, while water will increase speed and armor. It's possible they play different variations of summoners but that's the most likely way I see and it makes water a little hard to play.
Summoner KELYA FRENDUL
I decided to play water anyways for this opportunity to play Flagulon Reine.First Position HARDY STONEFISH
Had a little extra leftover mana you thought it'd be nice to have it here in first. It's armor might help take A melee attack or two before it is knocked outSecond Position VENARI MARKSCRAT
Hoping it's detect first be a snipe to give both stonefish and Flagulon Reine the boost to its statsThird Position FLAGULON
I'm hoping after being boosted and it's sniping the back row I can pick up a couple of cheap knockouts to really build it stack for four moves to first positionFourth Position TORRENNT FINED
Put it in the rear as pure sneak protection although it won't provide much protection.

Opponent Lineup & Match Play
- Summoner BORTUS
My opponent decided to play the anti-magic water. This allows them to access to the strong water cards while providing the same benefit as Thaddeus for one less mana - DJINN OSHANNUS
Credit card with good speed, you magic damage, and void. - TIDE BITER
Good second card that will attack with high speed. - CREEPINGN OOZE
I'm really lucky here that the ooze does not have a melee attack and will be considered a sniper Target
Round 1

Before things start I am concerned given that my magic attack it will be reduced to one, and that their biggest monster has void.
Round one starts off and I immediately lose heartystone fish. But I also quickly attack and knock out creeping news then I get my first blood lust for Flagulon Reine.
Round 2

Before the round starts things are still looking fairly even and I'm unsure how this will play out. I do know I'm going to lose Venrai Markscrat on a first attack providing me with yet another martyr boost. This brings us each to one primary monster within one monster and a second row unfortunately for me their second monster can attack. Good news for me is a plenty of armor to absorb it.
Round 3

I'm starting to like the way this looks while we've even health I have an extra armor and I'm about to get a bloodlust with my blast damage. After we both attack each other we both have six health but I now will be doing for magic damage.
Round 4

Getting that bloodlust boost to health and speed means I always attack first, and I will have a one health advantage. At this point I'm pretty much guaranteed a victory I just need to let it play through
Round 5

Around five plays out that we both trade blows and eat lose to health but going first and having one more is going to make the world a difference. I am caring to the victory just need to wait till around 6:00.
Round 6

Around 6 comes and I get a guaranteed knockout, the bloodlust boost at the end is not important but does give me an insight into how powerful this monster can become if you can secure a lot of easy knockouts
Thoughts - and Chances to Win Again
Plug this into our favorite tool to see how likely things were to play out the same way and I love to see 100% chances of a repeat victory. To me that just validates that I am picking a salad lineup for what my opponent picked and that I didn't get happy or lucky with rng. I think this might be my new low mana water lineup as it can be pretty powerful as it starts to secure knockouts

Thanks for sharing! - @alokkumar121
