Working on building out my complete Bronze Deck, slowly adding in Rebellion as I play and see what is key.

Rebellion Released and In Modern Play

Prices are super high and falling, but I need some of these cards to have a better chance to win. I've definitely been learning which cards are key for me to buy first and which ones I don't necessarily see a use case for yet. But if history tells me anything it's that I should buy as complete of a set as I can because rule changes in new abilities can greatly change the value and the usefulness of a car down the road. It's always better to get as many cards at the right level as possible to that you don't have to panic when the new ability comes out and the price jumps astronomically.

New Additions

I've spent a fair amount on these cards, and while they are only worth $88 today I think I've spent over $130 or 40 on them. That is the curse of buying cards when it first come out and will supplies low versus buying them all when there's a glut in the market, and before the price run towards the end of the packs. Can't really complain because these cards are helping me win which generates SPS and chests so there's always a chance to help offset the increase cost in the long run. Not to mention I wouldn't want to play without some of these as it is way harder to not have these cards and I'd be losing more matches and not enjoying the game.

Thought Process

  • No Attack for Weapons Training
It was clear I needed to acquire as many of the non-attacking cards as possible because some of the weapons trainings cards are just so powerful and useful that I find myself using them a lot. Also many of the two men of cars actually have a staggering amount of health and armor for bronze level. A 2-minute car that has five health is a bargain any day of the week, if you can add an attack then it is clearly a premium for low management

  • Dual Splinter summoners - 3 Mana
Summoners are always key, and getting a three mana seminar is even better. This is especially true in the silenced summoner or the low manometers were getting an additional man up for monsters is crucial. I also wanted to play around with building crossbreed decks and getting the two zero mana cards in the same lineup has been fun.

  • GF when Cheaper or almost the same
As you can see I bought a lot of gold foil cards, I am not building a gold front deck but there has been a noticeable number of cards that are cheaper to buy one gold foil version then 15 regular versions to combine to be a level 3 common. Sometimes they're slightly more expensive but if it's only going to cost me one more copy price of a regular to get gold foil I'll take it for the earnings boost. There's some rares that are only running 6 to 7x over regular price and I think that's worth the price.

  • Card I want to play a lot
As I come across to certain cards in matches that are exceptionally powerful and will clearly be targeting them first. I have not come across the too many yet other than coming across a few summoners and seeing how easily I could have lost if they had applied their powers differently. I will definitely be focusing on summoners earlier in this process then later and I will hopefully get them completed soon.

Next Targets

  • Summoners?
Seminaries are the key to everything, without them you can't really play or play at the right level. Some of the new abilities are great for these summoners and can be a real game changer. I want to keep working towards them but their price makes it hard sometimes to buy a lot at once and if I myself find one or two common cards instead of saving for a summoner.

  • Lookout?
I really need to add some cards with lookout to my lineups as the sneak, ambush, opportunity is really starting to wreak havoc with these new cards and the lineups are pretty strong. I need something to help counter that

  • Legendary?
Looking over the legendary cards they are super powerful and can fit into a lot of great lineups. They're not crucial at the moment so I will continue to watch to see what happens to their prices but there's a lot of greaty cards there that I will need down the road

  • Lowest Prices?
Sometimes if I don't have a lot to spend that day or week I will just buy the lowest card that I don't yet have to keep making some progress and moving forward. Sometimes it feels good just to knock out a hole or two and know that you're moving forward
