Why I Love Magic Damage In Splinterlands

Hello everyone! Today I want to talk about magic cards. Personally I would say I am bias towards them because I always use them, but I also think magic is one of the best types of damage. (This is only my opinion so it may be different from other peoples opinion)

Some Of My Favorite Magic Cards
Up until recently my favorite card was Venari Wavesmith but it is now Djinn Oshannus.
Djinn is now my favorite for a number of reasons. The first is that he has a lot of health, this means I can put him in the front when I have an all magic deck. Second is that he has the void trait so when I am versing another magic deck, they will have to kill him before attacking my lower health monsters. The last reason is that he has 5 mana so he pretty much goes first most of the time.

Advantages Magic Has Over Other Types Of Damage
Magic can be used in many different situations. For one magic goes through armor. An example would be if you are fighting a deck with a splinter that gives extra shield or their monsters all have shield.

Another advantage that a magic damage creature would have in my opinion is that you can stack your damage with your monsters. For example, if there is lets say, a tank on the enemy team with 4 shield and 12 health and you have a Ice Pixie (2), Medusa(2), Djinn(3), Magi Sphinx(3), and a Enchanted Pixie(2), then you could take it out in 1 round. Thats if it doesn't have void, weak armor ruleset, and you have a +1 magic damage splinter.

How Magic Damage Can Get You Out Of Bronze Quickly
When I first started I didn't really know how to form good decks. Then as I became better and won more matches there were certain decks that always won, it was the magic decks. I put a team of magic damage mosters and started playing with that. I won so many more games with them in bronze then I did with all my previous decks.

A good starter deck in order from first to last would be Lobstradamus, Magi Sphinx, Ice Pixie, Medusa, Venari Wavesmith, Enchanted Pixie
