Social Media Challenge!/Gold Debut in Bronze. My Win Streak in Splinterlands Ranked [ENG-ESP]
Hello everyone in the Splinterlands community and Play-to-Earn enthusiasts, this is your friend Sevenito.
Today I want to share a personal milestone with you: I've finally dived into the depths of Splinterlands Ranked Battles. Although I'd heard of the game, there's nothing like the adrenaline rush of selecting your cards under pressure and seeing the strategy unfold on the battlefield.
I'm currently in the Bronze III league, and to my surprise, the start couldn't have been better!
The Beginning of the Journey: Formats and Strategy
Upon entering the main menu, I found several options, but I decided to focus on the Frontier format. I was intrigued that only cards from the Foundations set are allowed, which levels the playing field a bit for those of us who are just starting out and don't have massive collections of older sets.
My initial goal was simple: to understand the basic synergies and, of course, start accumulating rating points to climb the ranks.
Analyzing My First Victories
In the images I'm sharing, you can see that I managed to string together several consecutive victories, adding +20+20+20 rating points. Here are a couple of matches that I found key:
- Win by Forfeit Against BARBAROSSA3_LITE
Not all victories are won with blood and fire; some are won through sheer presence. In this Frontier Ranked match, I unexpectedly secured the points.
This "clean" victory was the necessary boost to solidify my initial position of 20 points in the Bronze III ranking right at the start of my day.
- Fire and Ice Duel Against DR4CO
In this battle (of only 3 rounds), I used a formation focused on rapid damage. I faced a team that mixed water elements, but I managed to position my ranged attack cards in a way that eliminated their tank before it could regenerate. It was satisfying to see the "Victory" appear so quickly.
- The standoff battle against NOVIJ_LITE
This was a bigger challenge. The battle went all the way to round 7. Here I learned the importance of tank positioning. I used my Bearskin unit in the front position to absorb damage, while my back units did the dirty work. Seeing the mana counter at 98 allowed me to deploy a heavy and varied team, covering almost every type of attack.

With these four matches, my progress looks like this:
Victory vs BARBAROSSA3_LITE: +20 points (Total Rating: 20).
Victory vs DR4CO: +20 points (Total Rating: 40).
Victory vs NOVIJ_LITE: +20 points (Total Rating: 60).
What I've learned in my first
battles
Positioning is everything: It's not enough to have strong cards; If you put a ranged attacker in the first position, you're left defenseless.
Observing the opponent: Before each battle, looking at my opponent's recent formations helped me predict whether they would use magic or physical attacks.
Mana management: Learning to fill mana slots efficiently when mana is low (like in the 24-man battle) is an art I'm still perfecting.
My current progress and goals
As you can see from the screenshots, I've managed to raise my rating to 60 points in Bronze III. I'm close to unlocking better daily rewards, and the interface indicates I only need a couple more wins for my next reward chest.
I'm excited to see that the season still has more than 13 days left. My goal for this debut is to try to reach Bronze II or even Bronze I if luck and strategy are on my side.
Conclusion
Splinterlands is much deeper than it seems at first glance. Every battle rule completely changes your way of thinking. I'm really excited to keep unlocking cards and improving my collection.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un hito personal: finalmente me he sumergido en las profundidades de las Ranked Battles (batallas clasificatorias) de Splinterlands. Aunque conocía el juego de oídas, no hay nada como sentir la adrenalina de seleccionar tus cartas bajo presión y ver cómo se desarrolla la estrategia en el campo de batalla.
Actualmente me encuentro en la liga Bronce III, y para mi sorpresa, el comienzo no pudo ser mejor
El Comienzo del Viaje: Formatos y Estrategia
Al entrar al menú principal, me encontré con varias opciones, pero decidí enfocarme en el formato Frontier. Me llamó la atención que solo se permiten cartas de la edición Foundations, lo cual nivela un poco el campo de juego para los que estamos empezando y no tenemos colecciones masivas de ediciones antiguas.
Mi objetivo inicial era simple: entender las sinergias básicas y, por supuesto, empezar a sumar puntos de rating para escalar posiciones.
Analizando mis primeras Victorias
En las imágenes que les comparto, pueden ver que logré encadenar varias victorias consecutivas, sumando de +20+20+20 puntos de rating. Aquí les detallo un par de enfrentamientos que me parecieron clave:
- Victoria por abandono contra BARBAROSSA3_LITE
No todas las victorias se ganan con sangre y fuego; algunas se ganan por presencia. En este enfrentamiento de Frontier Ranked, me llevé los puntos de manera inesperada.
Esta victoria "limpia" fue el impulso necesario para consolidar mi posición inicial de 20 puntos en el ranking de Bronce III justo al empezar mi jornada.
- Duelo de Fuego y Hielo contra DR4CO
En esta batalla (de solo 3 rondas), utilicé una formación enfocada en el daño rápido. Me enfrenté a un equipo que mezclaba elementos de agua, pero logré posicionar mis cartas de ataque de rango de manera que eliminaran a su tanque antes de que pudiera regenerarse. Fue satisfactorio ver el "Victory" aparecer tan rápido.
- La batalla de resistencia contra NOVIJ_LITE
Este fue un reto mayor. La batalla se extendió hasta la ronda 7. Aquí aprendí la importancia de la posición del tanque. Utilicé a mi unidad con piel de oso en la primera posición para absorber el daño, mientras mis unidades traseras hacían el trabajo sucio. Ver el contador de maná en 98 me permitió desplegar un equipo pesado y variado, cubriendo casi todos los tipos de ataque.

Con estos cuatro enfrentamientos, mi progreso se ve así:

Lo que he aprendido en mis primeras batallas
El posicionamiento lo es todo: No basta con tener cartas fuertes; si pones a un atacante de rango en primera posición, quedas indefenso.
Observar al rival: Antes de cada batalla, mirar las últimas formaciones de mi oponente me ayudó a predecir si usaría magia o ataque físico.
Gestión del Maná: Aprender a llenar los espacios eficientemente cuando el maná es bajo (como en la batalla de 24) es un arte que aún estoy perfeccionando.
Mi progreso actual y metas
Como pueden ver en las capturas de pantalla, he logrado subir mi rating hasta los 60 puntos en Bronce III. Me falta poco para desbloquear mejores recompensas diarias, y la interfaz me indica que solo necesito un par de victorias más para mi siguiente cofre de recompensa.
Me entusiasma ver que la temporada aún tiene más de 13 días por delante. Mi meta para este debut es intentar llegar a Bronce II o incluso Bronce I si la suerte y la estrategia me acompañan.
Conclusión
Splinterlands es mucho más profundo de lo que parece a simple vista. Cada regla de batalla cambia por completo tu forma de pensar. Estoy muy emocionado por seguir desbloqueando cartas y mejorando mi colección.
