Olá Comunidade, Boas Vibes!

O desafio realizado para a comunidade de Splinterlands, intitulado: “Social Media Challenge!”, chegou com algumas mudanças sutis, mas que visam uma grande melhora em todo o processo de curadoria realizado nos inúmeros posts que participam semanalmente.

Apresentarei e explicarei 3 pontos novos, colocados na postagem do desafio, no perfil oficial do Splinterlands: Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!, as referências e citações foram todas tiradas dessa postagem.

A primeira e acredito que maior mudança é:

	“We are changing the deadline of submissions to 2 days before the post pays out (Saturday at 12 pm CDT). This is so our curators have time to curate all the entries before the next challenge gets posted thanks!”

	Observe
	“Estamos alterando o prazo de envio para 2 dias antes do pagamento da postagem (sábado às 12h CDT). Isso é para que nossos curadores tenham tempo de selecionar todas as entradas antes que o próximo desafio seja publicado, obrigado!”

Essa é uma alteração interessante, antes tínhamos praticamente todo o período de vida da postagem para colocar nossos links, mas neste caso, o desafio dessa semana só considerará as postagens colocadas nos primeiros 5 dias.

Para os brasileiros, esse horário será até sábado as 14:00 horas. Realizei um teste colocando essa hora no Google e o retorno foi esse:

Acredito que não apenas para este desafio ou para essa semana, talvez isso se torne o novo padrão das regras para participar e eu considero muito válido, deixando assim 2 dias para os curadores realizarem o seu trabalho com mais tranquilidade.

Múltiplas Contas

Outro destaque é para um problema recorrente que tem acontecido e muitos já perceberam: as múltiplas contas que uma única pessoa tem.

Isso é extremamente prejudicial, pois se uma pessoa cria 2 ou mais contas para conseguir pegar vários votos de curação e depois centralizar esses recursos, é uma forma de tirar a oportunidade de quem realmente precisa ganhar o voto.

	“Qualquer pessoa encontrada usando mais de uma conta para entrar no concurso será silenciada na comunidade e banida de toda curadoria e da possibilidade de participação em concursos futuros.”

Essa informação já era de se esperar, quando se fala em um concurso, o obvio é que apenas 1 pessoa participe por vez, isso em qualquer lugar, na vida real ou virtual, deve-se ter uma espécie de ética com isso, mesmo que não seja explicitamente informado.

Penso que com inúmeras situações encontradas neste cenário, era necessário trazer essa informação a tona. Com isso, julgo que qualquer um que realize todo o trabalho de postagens e de jogar honestamente também apoia medidas mais duras contra esses “cheaters”.

❗A consequência para quem for pego com mais de uma conta tentando conseguir uns votos extras é bem pesada, mas com certeza bem justa: será silenciado na comunidade e banido de toda curadoria e concursos futuros❗

Curadores

Por último, uma informação ou talvez até uma novidade bem interessante. Tenho em mente 2 conclusões que cheguei utilizando a lógica e ligando os pontos, observando o cenário atual.

Coloquei um resumo do que considerei mais importante, pois o original era um texto bem grande:

Sometimes we get a couple of days behind, just so we can let the VP heal in order to give larger upvote values.”

	“Atualmente, estamos trabalhando com 12 curadores incríveis da comunidade, além de membros oficiais da equipe que também têm os 'poderes' de votar! Nós (a equipe de curadoria) trabalhamos juntos para tentar votar na ordem de entrada. Às vezes, atrasamos alguns dias, só para deixar o VP se curar e dar valores de upvote maiores.”

Minhas conclusões:

• É citado que os curadores oficiais são 12. Nas últimas semanas, era latente a reclamação de que os votos estavam demorando ou vindo com valores bem baixos. Creio na possibilidade de cada curador ter uma equipe própria de pessoas de confiança (membros da comunidade) ajudando a avaliar e votar nas postagens, por isso é citado também que esses membros oficiais da equipe tem o poder de votar.
• A outra conclusão que chego, é de que realmente são apenas 12 curadores e que esses membros oficiais da equipe, são, na verdade, outras pessoas de muita influência e conhecimento no mundo do Splinterlands, então não seriam membros da comunidade ou algo assim. São pessoas já conhecidas e que também ajudam na curação.

Deixo bem claro que são suposições, ou seja, são apenas ideias que martelei na minha cabeça, observando todo o cenário. De qualquer forma se for verdade que membros da comunidade estão ajudando os curadores, considero uma iniciativa incrível!

Nada mais recompensador do que os próprios membros ajudarem a construir uma comunidade mais forte e justa, com votos proporcionais ao esforço aplicado nas postagens!

Um item que agora foi oficialmente explicado é a demora em receber o voto em alguns desafios, é basicamente a espera para que o VP (Voting Power) se recupere para podermos receber um valor bem legal de curação.

Conclusão

Considero as mudanças e informações apresentadas muito positivas, com um ar mais profissional para realizar os desafios.

Dentre esses tópicos, acredito que a punição mais severa contra usuários que tentem conseguir mais de 2 votos por semana, utilizando várias contas em seu poder foi a melhor novidade possível.

Muita gente cria postagens incríveis, com inúmeras informações e ótimos GIFs, desenhos e imagens e é triste saber que estão perdendo os votos ou recebendo pouco retorno pelo esforço porque outras pessoas pensam de forma egoísta e não pensam na comunidade.

Espero que esses espertos, aprendam a lição de uma vez por todas, precisamos deixar mais justo o que realizamos aqui na HIVE e dar oportunidade igual a todos!

Hello Community, Good Vibes!

The challenge held for the Splinterlands community, entitled: "Social Media Challenge!", arrived with some subtle changes, but aimed at a great improvement in the entire curation process carried out in the numerous posts that participate weekly.

I will present and explain 3 new points, placed in the challenge post, on the official Splinterlands profile: Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!, the references and quotes were all taken from this post.

The first and I believe the biggest change is:

This is an interesting change, before we had practically the entire post lifetime to place our links, but in this case, this week's challenge will only consider posts placed in the first 5 days.

For Brazilians, this time will be until Saturday at 14:00 hours. I performed a test putting this hour on Google and the return was this:

I believe that not only for this challenge or for this week, maybe this will become the new standard of the rules to participate and I consider it very valid, thus leaving 2 days for the curators to carry out their work with more tranquility.

Multiple Accounts

Another highlight is for a recurring problem that has been happening and many have already noticed: the multiple accounts that a single person has.

This is extremely harmful, because if a person creates 2 or more accounts to be able to get several curation votes and then centralize these resources, it is a way of taking away the opportunity of those who really need to win the vote.

This information was already to be expected, when talking about a contest, the obvious thing is that only 1 person participates at a time, that anywhere, in real or virtual life, one must have a kind of ethics with it, even if not be explicitly informed.

I think that with countless situations found in this scenario, it was necessary to bring this information to light. With that, I think that anyone who does all the posting and playing games honestly also supports tougher measures against these “cheaters”.

Curators

Finally, an information or maybe even a very interesting news. I have in mind 2 conclusions that I came to using logic and connecting the dots, observing the current scenario.

I put a summary of what I considered most important, as the original was a very large text:

Sometimes we get a couple of days behind, just so we can let the VP heal in order to give larger upvote values.”

My conclusions:

• It is mentioned that the official curators are 12. In recent weeks, there was a latent complaint that votes were taking too long or coming with very low values. I believe in the possibility of each curator having their own team of trusted people (community members) helping to evaluate and vote on posts, so it is also mentioned that these official team members have the power to vote.
• The other conclusion I come to is that there are really only 12 curators and that these official team members are actually other very influential and knowledgeable people in the world of Splinterlands, so they wouldn't be members community or something. They are people who are already known and who also help in curation.

I make it very clear that they are assumptions, that is, they are just ideas that I hammered in my head, observing the whole scenario. Anyway, if it's true that community members are helping the curators, I think it's an amazing initiative!

Nothing is more rewarding than the members themselves helping to build a stronger and fairer community, with votes proportional to the effort put into the posts!

An item that has now been officially explained is the delay in receiving the vote in some challenges, it's basically waiting for the VP (Voting Power) to recover so we can receive a pretty cool curation value.

Conclusion

I consider the changes and information presented to be very positive, with a more professional air to carry out the challenges.

Among these topics, I believe that the most severe punishment against users who try to get more than 2 votes per week, using several accounts in their possession, was the best possible news.

A lot of people create amazing posts, with lots of information and great GIFs, drawings and images and it's sad to know they are losing votes or getting little return for effort because other people think selfishly and don't think about the community.

I hope these smart people learn their lesson once and for all, we need to make what we do here at HIVE fairer and give everyone an equal opportunity!
