There was a lot of news announced in the Splinterlands Town Hall Summary - May 15th, 2023!, but, certainly one of them that drew the most attention and generated a climate of concern was about SPS staking.

The fact that CP (Card Power) will be replaced by SPS Staking, to be decided in which league you will play. So far so good, this news had already been predicted by many people and there is no big surprise at this point.

The real (perhaps unpleasant) surprise was the amount required for each league, which in my opinion and that of several other players in the community, are exorbitant and can be seen in the image below:

I won't do the calculations of how much is needed for each league, you've probably already seen this in some other post, but, the leagues from Gold 3 to 1, being the ones that I've been keeping for a long time, will need a minimum of 21,301.89 to insane 58,304.72 in SPS stake.

This news, as said, took many people by surprise, including me, who never expected such a high value. With my current SPS stake, I will go back to the Silver 3 league, other players in the Brazilian community have reported that they will even drop to lower leagues than this, i.e. bronze league.

Capricious 3,999.35 in stake, but I'll be able to pass the 4k, because I've already made a small purchase of SPS with the little I have to try to reach at least as fast as possible at 5,153.46 for the Silver 2 league.

It will again be another great challenge to overcome.

Suffering in advance is a mistake, to be sure, but what can we expect from Splinterlands? Rumors of players talking about simply stopping playing started, I even considered this idea.

What exactly do I gain from continuing? Is it worth starting all over again? After so much time chasing the CP to stay in the gold league, going back to the silver league is definitely a cold shower (from the south pole), because, in despair, I will regress my evolution.

Everything in life can have both sides, the good and the bad, in this case, this measure seems to be something that would already cut the bot infestation in the game a little, but as a side effect, many flesh and blood players (apparently) will be taken through the process.

I sigh calmly now, disillusioned once again with Splinterlands, wondering, which way to go? I just see questions in front of me, with that collective climate of uncertainty, where should we sail?

My post is just about that, simple, I'm recovering from this setback, but now what? I'll wait until that moment of switching from CP to SPS occurs and see how it goes.

Maybe I won't stop playing, with the bitter taste of another Rollback in my evolution, but it could also be that somehow, all of this gets better for everyone, the way is to wait for it to happen and draw your own conclusions when this new model is actually implemented.

Foi anunciado muitas novidades no Splinterlands Town Hall Summary - May 15th, 2023!, mas, com certeza uma delas que mais chamou a atenção e gerou um clima de preocupação, foi sobre o Staking de SPS.

O fato de que será substituído o CP (Card Power) por Staking de SPS, para ser decidido em qual liga você irá jogar. Até aí tudo bem, essa notícia já havia sido prevista por muitas pessoas e não há nenhuma grande surpresa neste ponto.

A surpresa mesmo (talvez desagradável) tenha sido o valor necessário para cada liga, que na minha opinião e de vários outros jogadores da comunidade, são exorbitantes e podem ser conferidas na imagem abaixo:

Não farei os cálculos de quanto é preciso para cada liga, provavelmente você já viu isso em algum outro post, mas, as ligas da Ouro 3 até a 1, sendo as que tenho me mantido a um bom tempo, vão precisar de no mínimo 21.301,89 até insanos 58.304,72 em stake de SPS.

Essa novidade, como dito, pegou muita gente de surpresa, inclusive eu, que nunca esperava por um valor tão alto. Com o meu stake de SPS atual, voltarei para a liga Prata 3, outros jogadores da comunidade brasileira relataram que irão cair até mesmo para ligas inferiores a essa, ou seja, liga bronze.

Caprichosos 3.999,35 em stake, mas já conseguirei passar os 4k, pois já realizei uma pequena compra de SPS com o pouco que tenho para tentar chegar pelo menos o mais rápido possível em 5.153,46 para a liga Prata 2.

Será novamente mais um grande desafio a vencer.

Sofrer por antecedência é um erro, com certeza, mas, o que podemos esperar do Splinterlands? Boatos de jogadores falando em simplesmente parar de jogar começaram, até mesmo cogito essa ideia.

O que exatamente ganho em continuar? Vale a pena recomeçar tudo isso? Depois de tanto tempo correndo atrás do CP para me manter na liga ouro, voltar para a liga prata com certeza é um banho de água fria (do polo sul), porque, no desespero, regredirei a minha evolução.

Tudo na vida pode ter os 2 lados, o bom e o ruim, neste caso, essa medida parece ser algo que já cortaria um pouco a infestação de bots no jogo, mas como efeito colateral, muitos jogadores de carne e osso (pelo visto) serão levados pelo processo.

Suspiro com calma agora, desiludido mais uma vez com o Splinterlands, imaginando, qual o caminho a seguir? Apenas vejo perguntas na minha frente, com aquele clima coletivo de incertezas, para onde devemos navegar?

Minha postagem é apenas sobre isso, simples, estou me recuperando deste baque, mas, e agora? Esperarei até que esse momento de troca de CP por SPS ocorra e verei como será.

Talvez não pare de jogar, com o gosto amargo de mais um Rollback na minha evolução, mas, pode ser também que de alguma forma, tudo isso melhore para todos, o jeito é esperar acontecer e tirar as próprias conclusões quando for realmente efetivado este novo modelo.
