As you can see, it still doesn't have a name! 😄, even so, in today's edition I want to bring you something really cool, which are some tips for beginners to help you get your bearings if you've recently started playing Splinterlands and I'm lost with so many things, then I'll leave the link to a really cool website that helps us understand battle skills and rules, as well as explanations of what I did on my journey to evolve and improve over time.

What is Splinterlands?

In short, Splinterlands in my opinion is a card game in which we assemble our team with the best possible strategy, according to mana capacity and following the battle rules we have, these cards that are our units in battle, play alone, as if it were a simulator or an “autochess”, with a very low RNG compared to other card games, basically that's it: trying to think about the possibilities of what we are going to face, assemble your team and go into combat, there the cards will automatically start the battle and we just keep an eye on it, hoping that our strategy has worked.

Splinterlands is an online collectible card game that uses blockchain technology. Each card in the game is owned by a non-fungible token (NFT) and is traded using features similar to cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. If you've ever played collectible card games like Magic: The Gathering or Pokemon, you'll find a similar experience in Splinterlands, but through a web browser and blockchain wallet.

On the game's Home Page we have:

1 - REVIEW THE RULES OF COMBAT
Each battle has different “rules”. These include special conditions (for example: perhaps all non-flying units will take damage), mana limit (the team's maximum power), and allowed elements.

2 - BUILD THE TEAM
Select a Summoner. This will determine the level and type of units available to you. Now position your units based on their stats and abilities. Introduce your team before time runs out!

3 - BATTLE
Watch the battle unfold. Notice how position, stats and skills affect the outcome. Learn what works and what doesn't. Find victory on the battlefield!

So, that's the way to play, but there are so many rules and so many things to learn with skills and everything, right?

Don't worry, we have some sites created by the community that really help us understand how everything works, in this case, I've selected one to talk about it, but I'll leave links to others so you can browse and learn a lot.

SplinterCards

Splintercards, a website with a lot of information, on its home page you will find a lot about the tokens of various games and a lot of market information with values up and low, but, as much as you feel lost with so much, my beginner tip is to simply not worry about everything you find and just focus on the menus that can help you understand Splinterlands.

Therefore, I recommend that you see this menu:

The page will open with all the cards from the Chaos Legion (CL) edition and in this case, you can take a good look at them all, where it says “Edition”, we can select all the other old editions, for example. Therefore, this part helps a lot to understand the cards, how to look at their levels and attributes and which of them gains new abilities, for example.

Another very interesting and essential menu is “Gameplay”, here we will have sub-menus where we can see information about skills, battle rules, leagues and editions/sets of cards. Everything is very well written and organized.

By clicking on the skills menu and then on “Void Armor” like in my example below, the cards that have that skill are loaded at the bottom of the page and at the exact level at which they have that skill. This filter is really cool because we can now go straight to the cards that have this ability, speeding up the search process.

By clicking on “Rulesets”, we have the battle rules, and when you click on each one, you will have a brief explanation of it. This part is very important so that we can learn about the rules that may apply in battles. Understanding each one of them is already an incredible help in achieving more victories in the battles.

About it being in English, if you're not very familiar with it, don't worry, you can use Google Translate to guide yourself through the information, that's what I still do today.

About Splintercards, that's it, there are many other things and information that we can use, but, honestly, I don't usually use them, so feel free to discover what each of them does, but, as said, the main thing for those who are starting out is to understand what the cards do and the battle rules, in my opinion this is the main thing.

Community and Giveaways

The community itself helps a lot too, many members hold almost daily card giveaways, so participating in these events can be a great idea for those just starting out. On my journey when I started, I participated in many draws that helped me evolve my cards, in my time I remember that some raffled off some DEC which is one of the tokens of Splinterlands, nowadays I don't know if anyone does this type of draw, but at least the ones on the cards help a lot to evolve.

Another fact is to always be aware of people's posts about Splinterlands, so you can follow the tag #splinterlands, they always have lots of news, tips, strategies and lots of knowledge for you to purchase. You can't be lazy, reading and understanding the posts, as well as the rules and skills of the cards is very important, knowledge is what will make you win more often.

B-O-N-U-S

I couldn't help but mention, the best way for you to get resources to invest in cards purchased directly or packs, is to participate twice a week in the challenges that the official Splinterlands team promotes. Anyone can participate and by following the rules correctly, you can earn good money with your posts and later invest in improving your cards.

Read well, understand the rules and then make a post following the ideas they indicated, share it on a social network (Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, for example) get the links (from your post and where you shared it), enter the post made by the profile Splinterlands corresponding and put the links there and that's it, just hope that if you have done everything right, they will vote generously, according to your effort in create your post.

Remembering that healing is not guaranteed, so another tip I can give is for you to really make an effort and create a really cool, cool and fun post!

Guild

Finally, a great way for you to grow is to join and participate in a guild/clan, as in addition to participating in exciting battles, the rewards in Merits and SPS help you buy Gladius cards and SPS, staking you improve your points gain for victory in battles, which consequently increases your number of daily and seasonal chests.

As for the points for winning battles, being part of a guild helps you with a percentage, like, for example, the current one for me which is +7%. This percentage is another benefit you have, as the SPS gained at the end of each Brawl will also help.

In my case, I am part of the HiveBR guild, focused on having Brazilians as members, of course there is nothing stopping new friends from joining. In a super positive way, being part of a guild is a great way to gain a lot of information about the game, exchanging ideas with other members, improving the way we play, reporting experiences and learnings that help us evolve, in short, nothing better than We need to have friends and companions so that they can help us understand what we are doing wrong and also guide us on the best path to follow.

The coolest thing of all is that you end up creating bonds and strengthening friendships, I believe this is the best part of a guild, having people walking together towards the same side, evolution, victories, so we often start alone, but with the We've put together a good group over time and that's sensational.

De forma bem resumida, o Splinterlands no meu ver é um jogo de cartas no qual montamos a nossa equipe com a melhor estratégia possível, conforme a capacidade de mana e seguindo as regras de batalhas que temos, essas cartas que são as nossas unidades na batalha, jogam sozinhas, como se fosse um simulador ou um “autochess”, com um RNG bem baixo perto de outros jogos de cartas, basicamente é isso: tentar pensar nas possibilidades do que iremos enfrentar, montar sua equipe e ir para o combate, ali as cartas irão começar de forma automática a batalha e nos ficamos apenas de olho, torcendo para que nossa estratégia tenha dado certo.

Splinterlands é um jogo de cartas coleccionáveis online que utiliza a tecnologia blockchain. Cada carta do jogo é propriedade de um token não fungível (NFT) e é negociada usando recursos semelhantes aos de criptomoedas como Bitcoin e Ethereum. Sendo assim, essa é a forma de jogar, mas existem tantas regras e tantas coisas para aprender com as habilidades e tudo mais não é?

Calma, temos alguns sites criados pela comunidade que ajudam bastante a entendermos como tudo funciona, neste caso, separei um para falar sobre ele, mas deixarei o link de outros para que você possa navegar e aprender bastante.

SplinterCards

Splintercards, um site com inúmeras informações, na sua página inicial você encontrará muita coisa sobre os tokens de vários de jogos e muita informação de mercado com valores para cima e baixo, mas, por mais que se sinta perdido com tanta coisa, a minha dica de iniciante é para que simplesmente não se preocupe ainda com tudo o que você encontrar e foque apenas nos menus que podem te ajudar a entender melhor o Splinterlands.

A pagina irá abrir com todas as cartas da edição Chaos Legion (CL) e no caso, você pode dar uma boa estudada nelas todas, ali onde está escrito “Edition”, podemos selecionar todas as outras edições antigas, por exemplo. Sendo assim, essa parte ajuda demais a entender as cartas, como olhar seus níveis e seus atributos e em qual deles ganha novas habilidades, por exemplo.

Outro menu bem interessante e essencial, é o que de “Gameplay”, aqui teremos sub-menus onde poderemos ver as informações das habilidades, regras de batalhas, ligas e as edições / conjuntos de cartas. Está tudo muito bem escrito e organizado.

Clicando no menu habilidades e depois em “Void Armor” igual no meu exemplo abaixo, as cartas que possuem essa habilidade são carregadas na parte debaixo da página e já no nível exato em que ela têm essa habilidade. Esse filtro é bem bacana porque assim já podemos ir direto nas cartas que possuem tal habilidade, agilizando o processo de busca.

Clicando em “Rulesets”, temos as regras de batalhas, no qual ao clicar em cada uma, terá uma explicação resumida da mesma. Essa parte é muito importante para podermos aprender sobre as regras que podem vir nas batalhas. Entender cada uma delas já é uma ajuda incrível para conquistarmos mais vitórias perante as batalhas.

Sobre estar em inglês, caso você não seja muito familiarizado, não se preocupe, você pode utilizar o Google Tradutor para se orientar pelas informações, é o que faço até hoje.

Sobre o Splintercards, é isso, têm muitas outras coisas e informações que podemos utilizar, mas, sinceramente, não costumo utilizar elas, então, fique a vontade para descobrir o que cada uma delas faz, mas, como dito, o principal para quem está começando é entender o que as cartas fazem e as regras de batalha, no meu ver é o principal.

Comunidade e Sorteios

A comunidade em si ajuda bastante também, muitos membros fazem sorteios quase que diários de cartas, então participar destes eventos pode ser uma ótima ideia para quem está começando. Na minha jornada quando comecei, participei de muitos sorteios que me ajudaram a evoluir as minhas cartas, na minha época lembro que alguns sorteavam um pouco de DEC que é um dos tokens do Splinterlands, hoje em dia não sei se alguém faz esse tipo de sorteio, mas pelo menos os das cartas ajudam bastante a evoluir.

Outro fato é sempre estar ligado nas postagens do pessoal sobre Splinterlands, com isso você pode se orientar pela tag #splinterlands, sempre têm muitas novidades, dicas, estratégias e muito conhecimento para você adquirir. Não pode ter preguiça, ler e compreender as postagens, assim como as regras e habilidades das cartas é algo muito importante, o conhecimento é o que vai te fazer ganhar mais vezes.

Guilda

Por fim, uma forma bem maneira de você crescer, é entrar e participar de uma guilda / clã, pois além de participar de batalhas emocionantes, as recompensas em Méritos e SPS, ajudam você a comprar cartas Gladius e com o SPS, colocando em stake você melhora o seu ganho de pontos por vitória nas batalhas o que consequentemente aumenta o seu número de baús diários e de temporada.

Quanto a parte dos pontos por vitória nas batalhas, fazer parte de uma guilda te ajuda com uma porcentagem, como, por exemplo, a atual para mim que é de +7%. Essa porcentagem é mais um dos benefícios que você têm, já que o SPS ganho ao final de cada Brawl também ira ajudar.

No meu caso faço parte da guilda da HiveBR, focada em ter brasileiros como membros, claro que nada impede de novos amigos fazerem parte. De modo super positivo, fazer parte de uma guilda é um prato cheio para conquistar muita informação sobre o jogo, trocando ideia com os outros membros, melhoramos a forma de jogar, relatamos experiências e aprendizados que nos ajudam a evoluir, enfim, nada melhor do que ter amigos e companheiros para que eles possam nos ajudar a entender o que estamos fazendo de errado e também nos orientar sobre qual o melhor caminho a seguir.

O mais legal de tudo é que você acaba criando laços e fortalecendo amizades, acredito que este é o melhor ponto de uma guilda, ter pessoas caminhando juntas para o mesmo lado, a evolução, as vitórias, então muitas vezes começamos sozinhos, mas com o tempo montamos um bom grupo e isso é sensacional.

Conclusão

O que comentei aqui é só a ponta do iceberg, têm muita coisa que podemos usar quando estamos iniciando, mas, a meu ver, essas são as principais para quem está começando. Acredito que descobrir as coisas faz parte da jornada, claro que podemos pegar algumas dicas ali e aqui para facilitar as coisas!
