That’s an interesting idea—maybe @acidyo could do something like that too, so he could be our cultural “manager,” haha, talking about music, anime, TV shows, movies, etc., on Scrobble and another site for artists to showcase their work—I think this idea is amazing.
It could even be like an e-commerce platform: artists could not only showcase their work but also put it up for sale, and people could buy it with Hive or other cryptocurrencies.
I think this idea has some interesting potential!

I thought about it once, and I even think there's a sales marketplace on Peakd, but something like that for artists has been left abandoned. Splinterlands used to have an art one to help artists and promote the cards in another style, but they removed it and it was abandoned. Holozing and some art communities remain, but a Dapp specifically for all types of art in general doesn't exist. It would be ideal for @acidyo to come up with some idea!! Greetings 🫂♥️🙏
I think we can work on this someday—I can try to come up with something and send it to acidyo, or I can try posting something myself; I’m not really sure. I’ll let the idea sit for a while, and then I’ll send you a draft of what I’ve managed to write and jot down!
Ohh!! Okay @shiftrox Perfect ♥️🫂, I think it's a good idea, you surely have more contacts than I do on Hive, I always try to make new friends but it's hard, getting to know people digitally.. I hope something interesting happens or competitions or something artistically appealing, a new community… about art.
Greetings 🫂🤝
We'd love to be able to pay our community artists for their fanart we've chosen to use in our upcoming TCG, but unfortunately with little funding left and currnetly in debt to a few hive accounts, it's not likely to happen soon. Many artists have also left which has made it hard to make contact with them to discuss deals, i.e. either a one-time payout or royalties from tcg pack sales.
If it's true, it's that the truth has let go of the hand of many artists, mainly those of paintings and crafts, many of us truly make an effort to make a beautiful and excellent post of our art and sometimes the little support makes them stop continuing to create on Hive.
But well, many of us always remain wanting to grow and see the blockchain at the top @acidyo, I at least will stay in the hive for life, it has helped me a lot in Cuba with my situation, even if it's just a little bit that they give me in my posts, it helps me from the heart.
Greetings bro, thanks for the comment and for thinking about creating something for us, happy weekend!! 🫂♥️🫶🤝
Yeah, I do feel bad about the art communities that got abandoned, especially onchain art, maybe we can do something with scrobble art as well as we're growing the platform slow but steady.
Exact, one more option in the app for artists who want to express their art through scrobble, it would really help us a lot.. Thanks @acidyo for keeping us in mind. Hugs 🤝
Only thing I'm thinking of doing different there is invite-only, so we don't have people coming in with fake AI images etc.
I also wanna do something for photographers.
No no, if it's artists like painting, crafts, clay, decorations, quilling, crochet 🧶 and others that show the step by step with handmade hands, I don't think there would be problems with AI, since digital artists, many of them you already know, and the real ones from the Holozing and Splinterlands community, it's known who is still making digital art, who are very very good creators… I don't think there would be problems, otherwise giving a power down to those who make AI is disrespecting us, I at least take hours on each artistic project for Hive, a loooot, honestly.
For photography too, but I still think there are good photography communities left, but you can also do another option.
It's just that I'm learning on Hive and everything is still very new to me, but @acidyo has helped me a lot, the people here. 🤝
