Why YOU should buy Mycelic Infary
This is my reason why Mycelic Infantry is Great
Hello everyone! 👋👋👋 Today I will be showing you why you should hoard Mycelic Infantry why it is low. With its great tanking capability thanks to its awsome HP and great armor that is boosted by its amazing ability, SHIELD (Reduced damage from Melee and Ranged attacks. Attack damage gets halved (rounded up), except attack 1 which deals 0 damage. Reduces the Thorns damage to 1.), its status was skyrocketed into the position of one of the greatest frontline in the game. But as you can see, that is not the only thing Mycelic Infantry has to offer. At level 5, it will gain the ability Giant Killer (Does double damage against targets that cost 10 or more mana) that will severly punish any high mana cap frontline that the enemy has to offer (rip Grum 😭) and in level 8, it will recieved the ability Enrage (Has increased Melee attack and Speed when damaged. Multiplier x1.5 rounded up.) that will turn its weakness to magic attacks into a powerful boost as magic directly damages the HP of the enemy. ▶️ Initial Game plan: ◀️
Since the ruleset is Unprotected, the match would be much quicker that normal thanks to the lack of armor but I still decided to go for a stall team since the onther ruleset is Up Close & Personal. I will use the Earth Element with the combination of Mylor Crowling and Mycelic Infantry to deal as much Thorn damage as I can to the enemy team. I want to win this game as fancy as possible. 😆

Since this is an all melee ruleset, I decided to use Uraeus to have additional damaging monster on the field. It may not have its usual bulk thanks to the UNPROTECTED ruleset but it still has its fair use.

Just line Ureaus, Parasitic Growth will be another extra damaging monster on my team since I am confident with the tanking capability of Mycelic Infantry.

Venari Scout is the upgraded version of Parasitic Growth in terms of stats. Better mana, better speed and better health but more or less, the same purpose. I placed Venari Scout a little on the back since it has a higher point on the HP compared to Parasitic Growth, meaning it can take more damage while still surviving a turn.

▶️ Purpose ◀️
Lastly is Fungus Feind with the job of protecting the backline as long as possible while also dealing some thorn damage to those sneaky attackers. With its small HP, Fungus Feind will surely attract the attention of Opportunist which is very beneficial to my team.
⚜️ Round 1
This is not good! The enemy has a higher level cards than me, meaning that his team will be a lot more stronger since it has 3 Gold Foil cards. His Cursed Windoku also poses a great threat to my Mycelic Infantry thanks to its Thorn ability. Looks like I'm on a pinch!
⚜️ Round 2
This is not good! my Mycelic Infantry is down to 4 health while my backline was opened up thanks to the onslaught of attack coming from the enemy sneak attacks. Also, the enemy Crypt Beetle proves itself to be quite the threat thanks to Disintigrator and its ability, nulifying damages that I throw.
⚜️ Round 3
The battle is tough and choking! I move can turn the tide of battle to anyone's favor. Having the speed advantage, the enemy really pushed my team to its limit!
⚜️ Round 4
In the end, Mycelic Infantry really showed its brute strength and durabilty by outlasting every opponent that it has faced, securing us the victory!

In the end, I won thanks to the great support of Mylor Crowling offered to Mycelic Infantry, maximazing its potential into a new height!

YES in a very successful way! Not only did Mycelic Infantry outlast the opponent and secured us the victory but I was also managed to show the potential he can offer in a team.
🏳️ What will you try differently next time?
Maybe I will add Goblin Theif to my team. I know for sure that he will add a great value to the team thanks to its good speed and damage accompanied with its 3 health that I'm pretty sure can tank enough damage to last a turn. I might also add Disintigrator next time to increase the survivabilty of my team, dealing more Thorn damage to my enemy.

Yes and I do use it frequently to be honest. The sheer bulk of Mycelic Infantry is enough to bring fear to my enemy but if it was accompanied with the right summoner, the game is basically over!

Of course I do like this card! It has the right stats for its mana requirements. It is also a very versatile frontline with many good uses. It is very easy to attach to any team and what really seals the deal is how useful it is in many ruleset line Up Close & Personal, Reverse Speed, Weak Magic and Lost Magic.
