Splinterland plots stabilized at 750 after hitting 850. 1k by next year? while we eat free SPS airdrops. That gives us free vouchers we sell for 20 bux a pop and 152% apy. Life is never fair.

Maybe I'm biased, because I hope they drop significantly for me to grab a few myself, but don't you expect much of the assets in Hive to go down with the macro-environment?
I see people speculating, as if there are no cycles and no downturns in markets, especially in volatile and relatively new markets with low market caps. I for one prepare for a downturn and have a stack of money to invest then.
I wouldn't bet on that, the price has been quite stable lately and land openings can't be too far. If you want a land the next Hive pump could be a good moment to buy.
It's a betting game for sure, but I don't see Hive and Splinterlands hold their asset price when the whole crypto market crashes in 2022.

Hive is an inflationary coin and you can see that hasn't pumped like other cryptos have, sure it's higher than usual but it's not like a huge bubble at all. The lands of Splinterlands are very scarce for the amount of players that has and you're paying for a raw land. If the lands are opened and you pretend to buy those opened lands, probably you will be paying a lot more for them than unopened.
It's good to know how the enviroment works but also to know what assets are you willing to buy. I've seen SL hold it's value in a huge bear run.
