Battle Mage Secrets - Target Practice Ruleset

Happy Diwali friends. I hope that this festival brings more happiness and prosperity in your life. This weekend is going well and special because of the festival. Here I am back to draft and publish the battle share submission post for this week's Battle Mage Secrets challenge.

This week, the ruleset is for Target Practice and this took some time for me to get it. I like this type of ruleset where we need to spend some time to get it. Later on, we need to play battle to win it and if we lose in case then it is also an opportunity for us to learn how to do better next time. I enjoy participating in the battle share challenge because this allows me to explore new rule sets in the game which helps me learn some tips and tricks for the battles. Winning the battle is fun and we all want to win but losing is equally important I think because it helps us figure out the different ways and how to win the battle next time.

This season will be ending in three days and till now I have unlocked 28 season chests for me. I am in gold 2 leagues as of now but planning to go to gold one and this is how I will be ending up this season. I expect that my season chest count will be thirty or above in the next two or three days whatever is the time remaining in the current season. This season I have played more than the last one and this is why I expect that by the end of the season, my count will be more than 30 for sure but maybe I can also make it 35 but not so sure.

Challenge Rule - Target Practice

This rule set is good and I would not say it's rare because I have got a couple of times in the last few days while playing the battles. I tried different ways to play with the rule set and the one I liked about playing better is the battle I'm sharing in this post. Last week Ruleset was rare because it took a lot of time to find one in the game.

All ranged and magic units gain the Snipe ability.

With this rule set the snipe ability is added with ranged and magic cards which I think is good and makes the battle even more fun. Some rule list sets are really good and this is one of the rule sets that I like because it makes the card more useful and attacks are also nice which increases the possibility of winning the battle if the right cards are chosen. It's better to choose the range and magic cards when we have these rules set for the battle and it is going to help us win the battle.

Cards Selection for Battle

The battle got 51 and it's a good battle mana. I could pick some of the nice cards for the battle and I focused more on the magic cards because of the rule set. I also placed lord at the front because it has a magic reflect ability, so if it gets attacked by magic then it will give back some damage. Winning or losing battle is just part of the game and the most important part is that if we learn different tips and tricks while playing that can make the future gaming better. Below are the cards I selected to play this battle -

Above are the cards that I used for the battle and it went pretty well because my choice of card was good and since the rule set was more for the range and magic I went ahead with magic-only cards for the battle.

I won the battle and my cards played in this battle-

In this battle, I played with water Monsters. Because I got good mana for the battle, I was able to pick nice cards but if you look at the opponent's cards then you can say it has also got better cards. I had a level 5 summoner but the opponent had level 3 and perhaps this is good for me in this battle play. Sometimes the type of card we pick is also important and even the placement is equally important in the battle. There are some common battle rule sets available across and we get these rules set quite frequently while playing in the game but still there are some rules set that are not so commonly available. Making a proper plan and a strategy for the battle is important and if fits the rule set then consider yourself a winner in the game this is what I am trying to do with different battles. We don't need to be going to win every battle but the probability can be higher of winning if the cards are chosen as per the rule set and the type of card the opponent is picking up.

Conclusion

I enjoy every battle in the game and no matter whether I win or lose because for me every battle is a learning experience. I have lost so many battles in the past and now I see some improvement in my winning ratio which makes me happy but I still believe that there is a lot that I need to explore and learn. I also know that there are so many cards in the game that I'm not aware of and I'm just trying my ways to learn more about those cards so that it can help me improve my overall battle and gaming experience with the splinterlands. Now we are also going to have a new version of cards soon and it will be known as Rebellion. While I'm already not aware of the older versions with the addition of the new version it is going to be an even bigger chapter for me to know about these cards. We are also going to get four new abilities along with three new game tactics so overall lot of excitement is on the way which should be available soon.
