My Splinterlands Journey- The Game that put me in to Web3 and I love it

Good day to you. Hope the day is going well for you and it's going well for me also.

This time the theme for the challenge in splinterland is completely different but I like it a lot. I like the way that the splinterland team has been following to bring some change and not so monotonous. Creativity is important and at least with this initiative we as a player have got the chance to talk about our journey in the game. It can be long or it can be short but whatever it is I think it is worth sharing with the community. It is also worth reading what other players are sharing here and how the game has impacted them. I'm sure the impact would be positive like I have in my case but I can't say about it but I would be reading some stories surely.

Discovery of Splinterlands

I started playing this game in July month this year so I can say that it's not a long time in the game for me. But let me tell you that this journey has been amazing in the last 4 months and I can't express how happy I am that I am part of this amazing gaming platform. I feel like I should have done it before because I'm not new to this platform and the community known as Hive. The reason why I came back on this platform is mostly because of the splinterlands.

I am more active on social media and because my profession is to keep an eye on the trend. I got to know about this game through social media and since I already had an account so thought of trying. I joined the game and started exploring more about it which took me a couple of weeks. The community is amazing because I got a lot of support from the different players who helped me explain different parts of the game. Now I am a player who plays everyday battles and also participates in weekly challenges.

Duration of Participation

My duration with this game is not long but I know that it is going to be long because I love the game and the way it works. I have played some games in the past and those were traditional games but never thought that there could be a game like Splinterland that offers an amazing experience for everyone including the player and the investors. I can't call myself an investor but I'm a player in the game and I enjoy my journey as a player a lot. I'm pretty sure that these four months will be turned into four years and you can still find me here as I have long-term thoughts on the splinterlands game.

I spend more time on the weekend playing more battles but still, I try to finish my daily quest or whatever time it gets which can be half an hour to one hour. In the last couple of months, I have managed to play in the Gold League which I think is a good achievement for me as a new player. I don't think I'm much new in the game because I have completed four months already which is a good time but still I know that I will be learning a lot in this game. This is not just about the game instead it is much more where you get to learn about the different parts including the NFT system, token economy, and other parts of Web 3 gaming.

Accomplishments

I am trying to grow my account and first I used to have about 30-50k collection power and pay in Silver League. Now this season I have a collection power of almost 200K and I'm planning to grow it more I also play in Gold League mostly. For a player like me who is new in the game and has completed only four months I think is a good accomplishment but again this is just the beginning for me. There is a lot that I am going to do but for that, I am preparing myself by gaining more knowledge and I know that this is a kind of game that requires more time to understand different parts of the game and overall project.

Goals

I have many goals in this game but before I start working on that, I have an even more valuable goal. I want to learn more about the game and I hope that in the next few months, this will be done because I have the passion and zeal to learn about this game. Once this goal is achieved I'll be thinking about adding more cards to my account. As of now, I am dependent upon the rental market and I pay a good amount of DEC to the card owners. My goal is to have my cards in the game and I should not be dependent upon the rental market but that is going to be a time-consuming process and I'm sure that one day this will happen. The rental market is very helpful for the new players in the game and I enjoy taking cards on the rent on this market. I hope someday you can have more cards that I can even rent out on the market to generate some rewards.

Advice for Beginners

I'm not a vintage in the game so I don't think I'm at the right spot to give some advice to the beginners but at least one thing I can surely suggest to my fellow new players in the game. This game is so good and there is a lot for everyone so even if you are new to the game then also do not worry and try to learn more. You can even play the game when you have no card in your account because that is where the rental markets can be helpful for you. You can take cards and SPS both on the rent and play the way you want because this is how this game works and I think that this is the best part of this game. I create some demand for the cards in the rental market so I do add value my way and it is also helping the people who do not play the game to get some incentives for their investment. Just spend some time to understand and go for it and I'm very sure that you are going to enjoy the journey because the community is so supportive and of course, the team is amazing.

Splinterlands isn't just a game; it's a dynamic universe that has the potential to shape and transform lives.

Conclusion

I completely agree with the above line that this is not just a game instead it is a fantastic universe or ecosystem where we do a lot of things and this is only possible with splinter land. I never heard about this kind of game before and I don't think I'm going to see any similar game real soon. This is the only game that I have been playing and it's been 4 months for me in this game. My journey has been amazing because if you are doing something good and you enjoy it then you can feel the positive vibes from day one. I can say that I have the same positive wise from day one and I improvise myself as a player in the game. This is not the kind of game that you can learn overnight and become an expert.

If you give your time to the game then this time is worth it because you are going to be part of your game which is not just futuristic but it will also help you learn more about the blockchain wave 3 and many other things which you cannot even think with the traditional gaming. I have seen many people on Hive who are active only because of splinterlands. I also think that this game is highly underrated and it deserves more attention.
