The Ranked Battle Overhaul is Good for players like me

Splinterlands is a fun and amazing game. I have been playing this game for more than six months and let me tell you that this experience has been amazing. Even when I was quite new in the game then also the experience was fun but in the beginning, I was struggling to learn how things work. I spent more time reading different articles and figuring out what are the best strategies to follow in the game. For every newcomer in the game, I can say that try to focus more on the learning first before you focus on reward or something else because this is the time when you can have a better hold on the game. There is a lot to learn and explore about this game because it's a big one but once you have a clear understanding of the basics it will help you a lot on your gaming journey.

While the rental market has been a game changer in my journey I'm sure there are many people out there who would agree with me. It is one of the players where you get any card you want and when I say any it means almost every card is available in the market and luckily this time the rental prices are not so high. Undoubtedly there is a spike in the prices as compared to when I started playing because at that time the DEC token price was low and now it is high so I need to pay more but still, it is OK and I think it is worth going for the rental payment through DEC token.

The Change in game

This season has been good so far because there have been some changes introduced by the splinterlands game team. I pay more attention to the posts published by the game account because I also participate in different challenges and this keeps me attentive to any post coming out. I saw a post that they are going to overhaul the ranking battle so thought of reading it with more attention. I think by now most of the players in the game are aware but I was aware of it in the beginning and this was helpful. Finally, the changes were implemented just after the last season and I did not see any problem while playing the battle the credit goes to the team because they take care of the community.

With the new change, the penalty for low-level cards is removed which means I can play my card on any league technically but there is no league available anymore except for Champion. This is just a visible indication that is helping us to have a rough idea that in which league we are playing but there is no leaderboard league so it is like we can play in any league however the ranking bucket is there and accordingly we can plan.

With this change, the demand for the card will still be there and I hope that the rental market will get even more competitive where sometimes I don't get the card that should be available now. Let me add here that the rental market is something that a lot of people enjoy and it is helping the players as well as the cardholders. It's a good part of this gaming ecosystem and I hope it will remain this way and maybe some new features and innovative ideas are also implemented later on to make it even more useful and interesting.

I am also trying to grow my SPS holding gradually but it will take some time however I have already taken some leases on rent which is helping me get some better rewards. A major part of my reward is invested back in the game because I take a lot of cards on the rental. I pay a good amount of money in the rental market and this is how I can play every season. I also tried to keep on reviewing my rental cards collection because sometimes few cards are removed and it is needed for me to take them back so a periodic review is required.

Conclusion

Overall if I need to conclude the change it is good and I like it because as a new player, I can play even better. This change is going to help a lot of our new players which was the intent I think of the team to bring the change. I like the way splinterlands theme walk because they focus on the community priority first and I think before bringing any change in place they do all the discussions and explore the possibility of problems. Overall it is a good change and I am enjoying the new change as of now and hoping that many other players also like the experience which has made their gameplay experience even better.
