Splinterlands is a fantastic game that I have been playing for the last six months. This is the reason why I am active on this platform because I love the game and it is every day an exciting time for me. I spent more time over the weekend playing the battle but on the weekdays also I spent some time on the battle. The game is not just limited to the battle itself because apart from battle we also can work on different parts of the game. This is a true game but even if you are not a gamer then also you can be part of the project. You can be an investor or you can be a player and even you can explore different cards that are nft. This week the challenge for Splinterland is to share tips for beginners in the game and I will try my best to share some of the tips that I hope will be helpful for newbies in the game.

Focus on Initial Learning

I know that you can go through different videos available on Youtube to see how the gaming can be performed I mean how you can play the battle. I am trying to mention here that you need to focus on the initial time to learn more about the. See its not easy and even its not tough but it depends on how you manage it. There are so many cars available in the game so any new player needs to learn and understand different statistics of the card. You also need to understand how to play well and just placing the card is not the right strategy. Understand the basics of the game including the card pack and overall tokenization in the project. You also need to understand the market and how you can buy and sell cards. Apart from this try to understand the rental market because it can be very helpful for you when you are new to the game.

Explore Rental Market

If you have more funds then obviously you can buy more cards in your game account which will enable you to play battles in the higher league. But if in case you have limited funds then also you can play well and all thanks to the rental market. This is one of the players that I love because I can get any card I want within less than a minute on rental and that is the best part I love. I still do not own many cards and I am mostly dependent upon the rental market. When I started playing at that time the prices on the rental market were low because of the low price for Dec. Now situation has changed because the DEC token price has increased. That is not a concern because it will keep on fluctuating. Abilities and Cards

There are so many cards in the game having different abilities. Its important that any new player try to understand this part because without this it will be very tough for anyone to play the battle. The more you learn about the abilities and different card statistics the better your gaming will be later. Do not try to learn things in a hurry instead give it enough time to have a thorough understanding of the cards and try as much as you can learn. It is not practical that we know about every card but if you are familiar with the ability part then it will not affect you much. New abilities are also introduced in the battle but it will not be much so you'll be able to cope but whatever is available at present should be gone through.

Token Economy

Splinterland has got a couple of tokens so you must understand the token economy. You earn sps through the battle but dec is also important however we cannot earn it anymore in the game. With SPS we can also earn some passive income whereas dec can be earned from the rental market if you lease out your card but this token can also be used to take cards on the lease. We need the sps as a holding to earn season reward and if in case you do not have sps then you can take that to on the lease but for that, you need to pay in DEC. This is why I say that learning these parts is very important and specifically the token economy is a crucial part.

Conclusion

Splinter Lands is quite a big gaming project so it is not possible to learn everything in a few hours and this is why I said that for any new person in the game, learning is more important along with other factors. I have discussed some points which you can consider as tips and I hope these are helpful for you in your gaming journey. When I started playing the game I used to watch a lot of videos and read many posts published in the community and trust me it was very helpful for my learning journey in the game.
