Splinterlands - Battle Library 21 - Diemonshark Smash - when trample works it's amazing!
In the previous battle library post the Desert Dragon was featured but the lower level water card Diemonshark can be a game changer too!
First things first, feel free to just go to their website directly but if Splinterlands interests you I'd be very happy if you joined up with my referral link:

If you looked at the title you'd know this is another battle showcasing the Trample ability.

The rules that applied to this battle were:
Mana cap of 26 - Not a low cap but definitely not a high cap
Water, Death, or Dragon;
Stampede - Trample can activate multiple times in one turn;
Healed Out - no healing in this battle.
Since the almost singular success of the previous Trample & Stampede battle I've found myself looking for opportunities to take advantage of that sort of ruleset more actively as previously I had not found Stampede to be a particularly impactful ruleset. But with the right cards it is devastating!

For this battle I went with:
Summoner - Kelya Frendul (4) - Plus one speed, Plus one armor - whats not to love!;
Diemonshark (8) - Two melee attack is a bit weak so it's a bit difficult to make it's trample ability work bit I'll try anyway. Notwithstanding that with six armor and seven life the Diemonshark is a solid tank;
Wavesmith (5) - mostly for the protect ability and even more armor for the Diemonshark!;
Axmaster (7) - always a favourite - double two ranged attack - awesome;
Ice Pixie (2) - to fill in the team and of course the magic attack is always handy;
Using 26 out of 26 it is fairly obvious that I'm hoping to get trample to go off. Can I make it work with the Diemonshark? We'll find out soon enough.
And the opponent went with a Death Deck - Thorns incoming for sure.
Summoner - Thaddeus (4) - life and magic attach reduction to the opposition;
Cursed Windreku (6) - probably the most common death tank since Chaos Legion came out due to thorns;
Riftwing (6) - Solid starting life of five and scavenge ability - handy to soak up some snipe damage in slot two;
Silent Sha-vi (5) - powerful melee sneak attack of three;
Death Elemental (3) - snipe magic attacker good to bypass the tank;
Undead Badger (2) - a sneak melee attack but probably more in as a filler;
Xenith Archer (2) - a ranged attack and helps to fill out the team much like the badger.
Also using 26 out of 26. Similar to the Desert Dragon Battle but with a few extras due to the slightly larger cap - Windreku of course for thorns and some sneak and snipe attack. I personally think its better to focus fire then spread with snipe and sneak together but with the right cards it can work.
Let's get started:
Turn One - Kelya has upped my teams speed so the whole team focuses it's fire on the Windreku quickly taking it down to one life. His team goes next spreading its attacks to the Wavesmith, the Diemonshark and the Pixie. A miss due to the speed helps too and the turn ends with the Windreku on one life, the Diemonshark looking great with four armor and six life.
Turn Two - Speed kills - my team all goes first taking out the Windreku and Riftwing in quick succession. His team retaliates but his shots are still spread but he does manage to kill the Wavesmith with his snipe removing the bonus armor on my team. Another miss by the badger is nice too. The turn ends as follows:

His team has a numerical advantage four on three but I still have the Diemonshark, armor and a dual attack axemaster!
Turn three - Once again speed is king and Axemaster reduces the Sha-vi to one life and then... Diemonshark Smash! - Kills the Sha-vi then tramples the Death Elemental, Badger and Xenith Archer - game over man, game over!
Another fun battle showing that when it works Stampede and Trample is lethal!
And that wraps it up - Hope you enjoyed the battle and if you found it interesting and are not into Splinterlands yet give it a go:
