Splinterlands - Seasons Rewards - 16 September Rewards - Another season down, how did we go this time?

Still using Splintermate, and the question is, is it still worth the USD1 per month for the account? Well lets see how this seasons rewards were.

Lets get straight to it:

Last Season

Last seasons rewards had 94 focus chests over the season and 42 End of Season Chests. That seems pretty good for me. The theoretical value was more than the USD1.00 for running the bot so on a theoretical basis I'm in the money on that front. What I actually got was for the most part lack lustre BUT and this is a big BUT... I did get a pack, that pack was opened and I got a not so useful but spectacular from a CP and Market value standpoint Gold Foil Legendary Zyvax Vuul! If I sold that card I'd get about USD25 of value so the season, from a value perspective for me was awesome.

This Seasons Rewards.

Can this season do as well? Well to start I got 119 Focus Chests - a big improvement on the last season. From a value perspective I did not get any cards of any real value from those chests. I did get one pack - which I then opened for an uninspiring set of cards with a minimum value - I felt like I should have just sold the pack!

So that leaves the end of season rewards - Lets start with the positive - more chests than last season at 54. Basically the way the bot is going I think it's probably winning as much and earning as much as I would playing myself so I'll keep using it.

Now looking at the rewards is the "negative" side. Value per Peakmonsters USD2.166 so at least its theoretically paying for the bot and then some so that is a good thing! I did get a gold foil Venari Bonesmith so that was nice I suppost but apart from that a bunch of potions, a tiny amount of SPS, a few merits and a bunch of cards that I don't feel inspired by. Definitely not as exciting as the gold foil legendary from last season.

Still it does mean I have more cards (20) at the end of the season that I did at the start so that has to count for something doesn't it?

And so that is another season. Definitely a bit of a downer compared to the value from last season but as long as the game effectively pays for itself (for the Splintermate bot) I might as well keep at it!
