Splinterlands - Seasons Rewards - 30 September Rewards - Two more weeks gone and it's time for more Seasons Rewards

Still using Splintermate so the main thing is to see how it's doing and if it's tracking with the sort of level of rewards I'd be expecting if I played myself.

First things first, feel free to just go to their website directly but if Splinterlands interests you I'd be very happy if you joined up with my referral link:

Lets get straight to it:

Last Season

119 Focus Chests over the season, 54 Season end reward chests. Rewards (theoretically) exceeded the bot running cost which is great and to be honest but were overall not particularly exciting with one pack earned and opened but no cards of interest.

This Seasons Rewards.

"Only" 98 focus chests this season (to be fair the bot was slowed a bit as I understand it due to congestion issues so that may have had an impact). Still I'm quite happy with that level of focus chests. No cards of value (there was a Gold Foil Pelacor Bandit but at a value of approximately USD0.33c according to PeakMonsters that is not that impressive and it didn't improve my account really.

I did receive a pack when I reviewed the rewards today so I'll open that before I finalise the post and maybe that will make this season a good one... As I mentioned last time I'd probably get better value just selling the pack but I think I'm generally willing to just take a gamble these days.

So on to the End of Season rewards.

A theoretical value of USD4.612 is not too bad I suppose, but of course much of that is taken up by the Pack earned. No cards of note earned, but still it was 17 cards added to the account so I guess there is some CP there.

So at this point things are looking tolerable but clearly not impressive.... still two packs to open - can that change the vibe?

20221001 Season Rewards - packs.png

One pack was not great with only USD0.54 value returned from a pack that can be bought for around USD2.15 off the hive market.

The other pack however had a Kelya Frendul (water summoner) and a Tenyi Striker - so a decent card and a summoner making that packs value USD3.78 so I guess putting the packs together makes them break about even. One can only wish for a GF legendary like I did a season or two ago but alas this time it was not to be.

So that sums up another season - nothing exciting to see really - only bright side is the account is theoretically paying for itself using Splintermate so thats something.

And so to finish, as I always say, if you're playing Splinterlands I hope you did better than I did with the rewards! And regardless, if you're interested in any of the programmes I work with links are below!
