She almost didn't make it!

Our ever-lovely Selenia Sky is a Dragon Summoner, which, unusually, most of the flying dragons allow her to ride.

She likes to stick with her favorite, however, (having a long history of battling together), SkyFang.

Together Selenia and SkyFang have had more victories on Mount Mox than any other Summoner in all the Splinterlands...and they know it.

Now you know it too.😉

If you have Selenia and Skyfang on your team, count yourself extremely fortunate (and maybe learn a thing or two about them here).

If not, I suggest you hook up with General Sloan immediately. He may not be as tough as Selenia and SkyFang, but he mught do in a pinch.

A nearly unbeatable team, Selenia and SkyFang, with all odds against them, can turn over a win as if they have the ✨Blessings of the Gods✨ with them.

This is embarrassing to admit, but I've had Selenia and SkyFang on my squad for a long time but I haven't understood the gift of glory they bring with them. (Strategy, I dare say, has not been my forte. In fact, for the longest time I had no idea how the cards worked. I simply hollered in glee when I won, and cursed the sky down when I lost...Like I said, embarrassing, (but, back in the day, I somehow made it to top 50 in Champion...go figure.))

Getting my arse kicked, (time and time again), by Selenia, one would have thought I'd have developed more faith in her.

Thankfully, that has (finally!) turned around...(mostly).

In this squabble Selenia was tackling her twin sis, Selenya.
Tough competitors those two. And a tough scuffle this was.

If you'll remember, in Favorite Battles #2 Accolades for Adelade Brightwing I wrote about "Lady" Adelade, the taunting Shieldbearer, their incredible line up, and how they often win.

In the above melee, dominated by rangers, Shielbearer, with his usual hard as nails countenance, lasted quite a long time - returning fire on my rangers every time they pierced him.

It didn't look good for my gang.

In five hits the Failed Summoner, (strongest of all the failed summoners of the Western Wood, (whose name, no one but the other failed summoners know)), was down.

It didn't take long for the Dwarven Wizard to crumble after that, leaving our Queen Mycelia, strong and resilient, to maintain the front line.

Grenadier (master of grenades), a tough fighter himself, using all his strength to blast out collateral opponents, went down with the return fire being too much for his reserves.

Acid Shooter, a welcome newcomer, scattering acid all over the place dismantled much of the opposing team who finally gave in, giving us the win.

Hailing @Miraikira of the Guild of Gondul with a cheerful "GG" we all went our separate ways, readying up for the next foray.
