After Yodin Zaku was freed from his thousand year entrapment

he had no idea there were any mix breed fire beasts of his kind, let alone any survivors of The Thousand Year War.

Majestically entering the battleground with his troop, 💥Yodin Zaku💥 was taken aback when he spied the Captain of the opposing team. Another of his kind, a mixed breed of two warring demon races, he went into shock staring at the magnificent creature across the field. Sniffing the air turned his shock into the swift realization that his opponent was intoxicatingly female. With lightening speed multilayered thoughts and sensations whirled within him.

Being a warrior first and foremost, (while facing the most distracting moment of his warring career), Yodin was somehow able to put his mind directly to the task at hand: victory.

Expertly he took note that her battle-gang was fashioned from the Noble Gold League of fighters, giving the mysterious battle commander points in his mind, while flashing on the enjoyment he felt by the idea of being bested by her, behind closed doors that is. On the field the notion was completely unacceptable. He needed to focus on making sure he won, and thinking about what might be in store for the two of them after the fray, which promised to be excitingly fierce.

Cunningly using the miasma of slowdown given off by the the Creeping Ooze,

(known by many in the region as "Oozie"), Yodin saw immediately that his line up was at a disadvantage.

Taking three strikes, that carried a five-hit blast, (he was going to have to speak to "Cocky" the Cocatrice, who he paid good money NOT to get hit), the She-beast's team was off to a good start.

Yodin's Serpentine Spy then made good against Oozie, knocking him out, shooting blasts all around him. The She-beast's golden Serpentine Spy went down a heart from the blast, (while Yodin was thinking "Yodina" is what he would call her).

With Oozie out of the way Gem Meteor regained speed and quickly dispatched the golden Serpentine Spy.

Fortunately Cocky missed the golden Serpentine Soldier, who would have nearly taken him out with his thorny thorns, had he hit him.
I wonder if Cocky was out partying last night Yodin thought, a little bemused, since in that moment, Cocky's miss worked in their favor. Then again, missing could have been a thoughtful strategy by Cocky, a seasoned fighter. And we all know the Serpentine Soldier is one of the most difficult creatures to hit, anytime, anywhere. Come to think of it, Cocky and "Serp" were good friends, having a bit in common, and were often at campfires drinking together, while racing one another through the woods.

All these thoughts came to Yodin in a blink of an eye while he kept both his eyes firmly fastened upon the stunning She-beast.

And while there were a few more sparks flying hot in the combat zone, things were over fairly quickly, (thank goodness, Yodin thought), with five of Yodin's squad remaining at the end of the battle.

Sauntering over

to the other side of the field to shake hands with "Yodina" the She-beast, the first words out of Yodin's mouth were, "You're a savvy battle commander."

Immediately liking his style the She-beast gave Yodin an enigmatic look, with a half cocked smile, bowed her head slightly, turned, and imperially commanded her posse to follow her, disappearing in a flash.

Yodin, fully accoustomed to the attention of the ladies, was both startled and amused, with his mind like firecrackers popping off with questions about this new development in his life, and what it meant. He looked forward to meeting her again on the battlefield.😏

TAKE AWAY TIP: The armor bestowed by the Tower Griffin took the initial blast hits giving my team a chance to do damage to the unarmored opposing team.
