1 MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN THUMBNAIL.jpg

Greetings Splinterland Warriors (and Wannabes)!🐲

Although it took a while, my "Mycelia the Slippyspawn" held her own against Chanseus the "GrrrrAte" and the nearly-always-reliable Shieldbearer (cards I also love) in a Diamond battle with Fog of War and No Neutrals.

Backing her up were three Healers✨:

1). Spirit of the Forest (who also gives armor)
2). The Glorious Khmer Princess (with heal & triage)
3). The Goblin Psychic (one of my new favs (with heal and afflict)

My gang was Summoned by the ever-thornie Mylor Crowling who bestowed thornie-Thorns upon them all (feels soooooo good).🌡

While "Mycelia the Slippyspawn", (taunting my team's opponents to come at her with all they've got), was stunned time and time again, with considerable healing power backing her up she never budged.πŸ’ͺπŸ‘½πŸ’ͺ

Now, while I'm winning slightly over half of my battles, (after nearly 3 years of addictive playing, and collecting a relatively hefty-ish cache of cards), I really can't boast of being a great player, (even though the sublime @ChrisRoberts - Scribe of the Splinterlands - tells us if you win over half your battles you qualify as a Battle-Mage). I still perceive myself as being a bit dense when I forget and make the same mistakes too often. Truth be told, even though I've admired, and learned from True Champions of the Game I've also, (OMG this is so difficult to admit) been utterly hateful and jealous of them when they've kicked my ass time and time again.🀬

However, since jealousy is one of the seven deadly sins, and I'm really into being strong and healthy overall, I'm learning to get over my jealousy by accepting myself where I am, the good, the bad and the ugly, and accepting that others can be better than me without me having to yell "off with their heads!" in the back of my mind, (or loudly with my mouth).πŸ˜‡

One True Battle Mage - @clove71 - who I fancy thinks I'm quite a dimwit everytime we battle...(and, likely thinks, "Hooray! Automatic win" when she sees it's me she's battling, (I mean, who wouldn't think that if it's the case!), is admirable because she can actually remember who to pick for which challenges during a given hand with the clock a'ticking. (Insert "Big Brain" emoji here.) Check her out Warriors and Wannabes - you can learn a lot of winning information from that Xena Babe!😸

So, in the face of being a rather bit dense at times I've taken to screenshotting battles I've lost (when I own roughly the same cards as my opponent, at roughly the same levels) to teach, and remind me of choices I can make under the various circumstances the game presents, and potential hands I might expect others to pick.πŸ€“

I've also taken to saving battles I've won with cards that've really impressed me, such as this battle with the Mycelic Slipspawn, and her team of healers, so as to hopefully help some of you out there who might be faced with the challenge of not knowing which cards to chose in a battle; or, might want a lead on which cards to consider investing in.πŸ’ͺπŸ€‘πŸ’ͺ

My aspiration is that my FAVORITE BATTLES posting theme helps you learn (and remember!) tips and hints to win more battles!πŸ‘

More great battles to come...πŸ’₯
