How-to Play the Splinterlands: In the Beginning

Hello! Today I wanted to take some time to explain the very beginning of playing Splinterlands.

Recently I suggested that a family member start in Crypto. When faced with explaining to them how to start in crypto, I was speechless.

I realized; I have NEVER invested actual cash into my crypto world. I could maybe explain how to covert the crypto into USD. But I really have no clue how to move USD into Hive, DEC, or SPS.

When I did try to put money into the game, I found that my money needed a 10-day waiting period to be transferred, and then every day I have tried to transfer since, the wallet has been offline for maintenance.

This means I am forced into being creative about gaining DEC so that I can feed my Splinterlands market shopping addiction!

The easiest way to earn DEC is to battle in the ranked play of the Splinterlands game, so this is what I will be focusing on in this video. I will try to explain the basic features of the game, how to play in ranked mode, and the basics of joining tournaments.

The Immortal Gods guild: IG TV are Splinterlands players dedicated to streaming the Splinterlands games, and battles. One way to learn about the game is to tune into these streams. Many of the streamers will sponsor tournaments, and stream the results, offering prizes, and giving away Splinterlands cards during their stream.
