Is Hive's slide in market cap the reason for decline in Hive Price?

Two and half years ago, I wondered if the inability of Hive to stay in the top 200 of market cap as shown in Coingecko was pushing down the price of hive. Here's that link https://peakd.com/hive-193084/@sirclucksalot/dek68ljrgvgqxrp7hjl87y
Now, Hive is at 635 in market cap and the value of hive has dropped from $0.37 to $0.11 today.
If market cap continues to slide, will the price of Hive continue to drop?
