Hello dear community of artists, it's a pleasure to greet you, I hope you are well and active with your fabulous arts of different themes. Today I want to present you an art I made for the weekly contest of Splinterlands, I wanted to make a Chibi style drawing because they are cute and adorable. I chose Elemental Phoenix because of its beautiful colors, I loved this card so I decided to draw it and create a tender version of it, but still showing its greatness. I hope you like it.
Hola estimada comunidad de artistas, es un placer saludarles, esperando se encuentren bien y activos con sus fabulosos artes de diferentes temáticas. El día de hoy quiero presentarles un arte que hice para el contest semanal de Splinterlands, quise hacer un dibujo al estilo Chibi porque son tiernos y adorables. Escogí a Elemental Phoenix por sus hermosos colores, me encanto esta carta así que decidí dibujarla y crear de el una versión tierna pero que no dejara de mostrar su grandeza. Espero les guste.
With my concept in mind I started to draw, first I started with the lower part, I took into account its original orientation to make it easier for me to keep the shape. After making several strokes and getting the size the drawing became easier, so I got inspired and began to give details in each of its parts until I got the drawing in the style I wanted, I loved it.
Con mi concepto en mente comencé a dibujar, primero comencé por la parte inferior, tome en cuenta su orientación original para que se me hiciera más fácil mantener la forma. Después de hacer varios trazos y obtener el tamaño el dibujo se fue haciendo más fácil, así que me inspire y comencé a darle detalles en cada una de sus partes hasta obtener el dibujo en el estilo que quería, me encanto.
After that, I outlined it with a pen and refined the details erasing the unnecessary strokes, leaving it ready to start painting.
Luego de eso remarque con bolígrafo y afine los detalles borrando los trazos innecesarios, dejándolo listo para comenzar a pintar.
The coloring was done in parts, first I outlined some areas with pink marker and painted all the black with marker, after that I used watercolors to get the Elemental Phoenix tone and so I continued painting the whole drawing.
El coloreado lo hice por parte, primero remarque algunas zonas con marcador rosa y pinte todo lo negro con marcador, después de eso utilice acuarelas para obtener la tonalidad de Elemental Phoenix y así continúe pintando todo el dibujo.
For the background I used black watercolor because with it Elemental Phoenix would stand out a lot due to its reddish colors, I used some white to create a gray around the beak and legs, the rest I used deep black all over the canvas and that's how I finished my drawing.
Para el fondo utilice acuarela negra porque con ella Elemental Phoenix resaltaría bastante debido a sus colores rojizos, use un poco de blanco para crear un gris alrededor del pico y las patas, del resto use negro profundo por todo el lienzo y así termine mi dibujo.
