Vouchers or Packs? The Difference Can Be... Scary.
When looking on hive engine, one might be shocked to see that the Vouchers needed to redeem the presale packs are more than the packs themselves! This might seem like insanity since you need a voucher and FOUR more dollars to buy a pack. Why would anyone sell packs for less than a voucher? On the surface, it may seem like utter insanity till you consider the other presale bonuses you earn from buying the pack directly from the store yourself with a voucher.
Each presale pack purchased from the shop with a voucher offers the following added benefits:
1/50 chance of pulling a Doctor Blight from airdrop. Each purchase of 50 or more contains guaranteed Doctor Blight drops. There will be a max of only about 26k of this monster, and quite possibly much, much less depending on the number of vouchers and voucher fragments that are never redeemed for a pack. This monster will not be available in packs, and will only be given to players who bought packs from the store.
1/x chance for all future airdropped legendary cards. A new legendary card will be released every 1m packs sold for a total of 13 unique cards. The rates are not yet known on these airdrops, but each pack comes with a chance to get one of these directly from the cloud.
A title worth quite a lot of airdrop points, and providing you special access directly to the devs through the Mavericks-House channel on the official discord. You will receive one title for each 1k packs you purchased directly from the splinterlands storefront page.

With packs as high as they are, it's going to be tempting to take a short cut and buy the pack directly for less. Many will and have taken this seemingly easier route, but if it seems to be too good to be true, it probably is!!!! And in this case, YES these packs from hive-engine are a complete and total ripoff! Take the time and extra resources to buy the packs with vouchers to take full advantage of everything the Devs are bundling with them!

You might be right but it could be that their SPS airdrop value changes the offset.
I would be selling the packs I bought to any price since I can buy more packs and more vouchers with the returns.
I agree wholeheartedly, there really isn't a reason for someone buying packs at these prices to turn around and sell them for more vouchers. The main reason behind this post, is that I hope to show potentially uniformed customers that those packs are overwhelmingly a good deal for the seller and overwhelmingly a bad deal for the buyer.

I personally think there will be this inflection point where vouchers drop in price as prices are released and then these vouchers will be absorbed moving forward by whales to "camp" for future set and use case application but just a overall thought and not based off any findings/info
