Greetings to my ever growing Cent family and dearest fellow Hivers. It's been an awesome week and I'm happy to share my last post for this week on Cent. I hope to start a fresh new series from tomorrow.

Today's blog post is centered around music and how it influences our mood and emotions.

As humans one thing that really creates our uniqueness from either animals or robots is the complexity of our emotions and how deep we're able to express it. Music is really a language but this is a language that everybody understands.

Music has its way of affecting our feelings and determining our moods. Some people have what they call their favorite song. This may be either because the lyrics of the song resonates deeply with them or they find the beat or rhythm of the song highly pleasurable.

Music has the power to lift up our spirits when we're down. Ever been sad and you decided to turn on a particular music or song that always seems to have a way of making you feel happy and joyful?

One thing that's really special about music is how it's capable of transcending or crossing cultural boundaries. Regardless of the culture, it is capable of moving just anybody.

Also, one of the most interesting things about music is its emotional impact on us. It's funny how fast cheerful songs make us happy while slow tunes can make you feel this feeling of sadness and nostalgia. The verify fact that this happens is prove of how music influences our moods or emotions.

This sometimes happens to people with a really mixed up playlist. When your playlist is mixed up and set to shuffle mode, playing any random song on the list. It can play a slow song which sets an emotional and nostalgic mood and when it suddenly changes to a fast song, your mood switches immediately with it. 😂

Did you know that music is used for therapy? Due to its impact on our moods and emotions, it can be used to control or manage our emotions and deal with stress. It's basically some people's go to when they feel stressed out or even upset or depressed over situations.

Sometimes it ain't just the listening to music but the making of music. We're able to express ourselves deeper with the music we create.

Another awesome thing music really does and I feel it a lot of times is how it connects us to past memories. Ever heard a song that always reminds you of a particular event or even a particular person? Thats the true power of music guys.

Undoubtedly the impact of music on our emotions and moods is really great. The world without music would have been truly boring.

Infact, when it comes to movies, the music and the beats are a reflection of what's going on in a particular scene. Ever watched a horror movie before? 😂 That background beat that plays before the scary monster is revealed always gets me hiding under my sheets.

Romantic movies wouldn't have been as romantic as they've been if they were without music. Music sets the tone and the mood of every situation.

On TikTok and other short video streaming platform nowadays, people use particular trending music to show dance trends or other viral trends. It has a way of categorizing the videos.

Imagine parties without music. I wonder what you're going to be dancing with guys. The type of music also determines the type of dance.

Even in religions, music is a form of prayer. Imagine going to church with no choir singing or no person coming up to sing one awesome song to set that spiritual mood.

Music is so great and so needed that a lot of the rich people we call celebrities are all musicians. All that fame, money and influence that a guy like "Micheal Jackson" got was only through his music and his dance. That's the raw power and impact of music in our world. I'm pretty sure the music lovers are excited right now.

it depends also, if i am reading or writing, slow songs are usually the best. but when i am in the gym or just feel like dancing, fast songs are suitable at that moment
