WOO - 30 Wrestlers that lasted the longest in Royal Rumble Matches

In yesterday's blog, I shared an awesome list on Wrestlers that made the most elimination in a single Royal Rumble match and we had some of the top wrestlers like Brock Lesnar and Brawn Strauman eliminating as many as 13 men in one match.

For today's blog we're not looking at the most eliminations but the wrestlers that endured the longest in a Royal Rumble match.

The Royal Rumble match is the toughest match that tests the endurance of wrestlers and those that are able to last long in the ring proof to be great strategists and wrestlers.

It takes a lot to endure in a wrestling match that would have 30 men in the ring.

Some of the wrestlers who lasted the longest came in very early and survived for over an hour in the match.

The man holding the longest time in the Royal Rumble match is Gunther who is also the longest reigning Intercontinental champion today.

He made an entry to this year's Royal Rumble at number 1 and stayed in the ring till the last man Cody Rhodes came in. Gunther was the first man to enter the ring and the last man to be eliminated by Cody Rhodes.

He lasted a whole 1 hour , 11 minutes and 40 seconds. It was unfortunate that he didn't win but I think the main reason why he lost was because it was scripted for Cody Rhodes to win and make it to WrestleMania.

Gunther really deserves acknowledgment and it would be super difficult for another wrestler to break his record.

The wrestler would have to come in the Royal Rumble at number one and last longer at the end to be able to break Gunther's record.

I bet Bookerman was routing for Gunther to win the Royal Rumble match.

Well guys enough about Bookerman's favorite wrestler, let's look at 30 other men that lasted very long in their Royal Rumble match.
