WOO - Chad Gable's WrestleMania XL Potential: Intercontinental Championship Match
Greetings to everyone and welcome to Wrestling Organization Online, WOO.
So, I have been recently following WWE particularly the drama that leads to WrestleMania XL.
One thing that stuck me was the speculation about Gable possibly being added to the Intercontinental Championship match. Now, let me tell you, as a fan, I’m torn in this whole situation.
First of all, let’s discuss that Gauntlet Match. Gable was on fire showing his in-ring ability. But then it started getting messy. Some of the fans believed that when Sami Zayn pinned him his shoulders were off the mat.
Now I’m not a referee but still if it’s controversial at all then its worth watching out for.
Now here is where things start getting interesting. Even though he lost Gable showed great sportsmanship. In an interview conducted by Cathy Kelley after the match, he spoke about Zayn and how he had emerged as the better man during their encounter.. Now this is some class right there.
It is not easy accepting defeat especially on such a platform like WWE stage.
However, this is my own opinion on the Gable being added to the WrestleMania XL contest. He has had so much love from his fans. People have flooded social media with comments about him.
As you know, Hunter Hearst Helmsley is a man who listens to his WWE Universe; hence adding Gable into the mix might be something he would consider.
But then the intercontinental championship match already seems too busy for another entrant, as well as Gable may mix things up, but does that really make it a must?
I mean, Gunther defending against anybody who wins the elimination chamber match – isn’t that enough?
In addition, don’t forget there are other superstars involved. Actually they’ve been knocking themselves out. And of course Gable will get his chance someday. By the way WWE is full of unexpected things after all.
I’m not saying anything negative about it, am I? If adding Gable to the match will make WrestleMania XL even more thrilling, then I am all for it.
On the other hand, at the same time, I don’t want it to overshadow everything else that has been building up toward this event.
Ultimately, whether Gable is added to the match or not, one thing is clear: WrestleMania XL will be epic.
And maybe Gable can pull off a shocking upset and become the new Intercontinental Champion. This is what makes WWE so interesting – no one knows what’s coming next.
So yeah, that’s my take on the Chad Gable thing as a whole. Definitely exciting times ahead.
