WOO - Cody Rhodes' Quest for Championship Gold and Triple H's Role in the Battle
Greetings to everyone and welcome to Wrestling Organization Online, WOO.
I've been following the storyline of Cody Rhodes and The Bloodline every single week.
Only recently, I found some intriguing concepts on how the story could have developed differently; therefore, I felt obliged to give my opinion regarding this.
But one idea has been bothering me lately; it was raised that Triple H, WWE Chief Content Officer could do a lot to prevent Cody Rhodes from winning WWE Championship.
Once again, he became the first one to say particularly and I do recall him saying “triple H could’ve screwed cody at the last minute”.
This motivated me more than anything else. It would be an entirely different direction in the plot.
What if things were so intense as Rhodes nearly won the title and then it was taken away by someone who once cared for him? This unexpected twist could be such a surprise to the viewers hence making it interesting television.
However, another perspective must be considered. Cody Rhodes’ status as WWE’s top guy has been challenged by Vince Russo a former WWE writer.
He contended that the result of the match between Rhodes and Roman Reigns might depend on whether The Rock and TKO (which might stand for World Wrestling Entertainment management) think about Rhodes or not.
This raises an important question: can Rhodes be the face of the company?
Ever since Roman Reigns came back to WWE at Wrestlemania 38, his journey has fascinated me a lot.
But honestly speaking, I also harbor some doubts about his future success. While he is a great in-ring performer and connects well with fans, there is something missing from him ever really being ‘The Top Guy.’
It could be that he does not have that one defining moment or he still needs to work on having a unique character built up.
Nonetheless, I cannot hide the fact that I wish Rhodes well. His road was not easy but it would be nice if he found himself on top as WWE Champion.
We don’t know what will happen at WrestleMania 40; however one thing is for certain- it won’t be an easy ride.
In conclusion, the idea of Triple H preventing Cody Rhodes from winning the WWE Championship adds an exciting twist to the storyline.
Although there are doubts about his credibility as a top guy or even if he would be able to overcome them to attain his ultimate goal. However, irrespective of what occurs one thing is certain; I’ll support him every step along the way.
