WOO - Last Night's Monday Night Raw Segment: CM Punk, Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins
Hello once again guys and as always,. welcome to Wrestling Organization Online, WOO.
I gotta be honest, I really enjoyed last night's Monday Night Raw segment. I watched CM Punk, Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins as they engaged themselves in the ring. This is my account of that.
Firstly, CM Punk came out and snatched the microphone. He was so amped up and ready to go on speaking.
As a matter of fact, he let his followers know whether or not he would be at WrestleMania, replying with a yes! That made me excited because I love WrestleMania.
But then he talked about his elbow not being 100%, which made me feel sorry for him. Nonetheless, this could not prevent him from letting them hear what he had to say.
Punk talked about several possibilities regarding his position at WrestleMania such as hosting or refereeing. It was intriguing listening to his thoughts about that subject.
After that he called out Pat McAfee mentioning how Roman Reigns appeared on it. That part made me feel curious about what happened on McAfee’s show?
After that, Punk spoke of Seth Rollins and their long friendship. He even made a joke about Rollins being in high heels these days making me laugh. However, things got serious when he mentioned that Rollins laughed at his broken arm.
This didn’t sit well with Punk and I understood why.
Then Punk said something about The Rock and I became excited because I’m a big fan of him. Punk spoke about their history together and how The Rock realized he couldn't be more wrong. That was a great moment.
Then, Punk moved to Drew McIntyre. He called Drew out but the latter went back instead on the stage where he had stood all along speaking back. This guy even talked about stomping on my arm before which sounded intense. At one point, McIntyre was a Scot in a kilt and this made for humorous remarks by Punk.
Punk was on rehab by McIntyre, which sounded mean. However, the surprising statement he made was that Punk is his beacon.
This was quite a shocking revelation, but it demonstrated how much McIntyre esteems Punk as a rival.
As things simmered up, McIntyre refused to come into the ring while Punk lying down in an act of good faith. He wished for Punk to sit at the front row during WrestleMania and watch his moment unfold; it seemed audacious.
I never thought things could get weirder than this until Seth Rollins appeared. He confronted both McIntyre and Punk calling them children. I sensed tension build between them.
Rollins didn’t hold back either, saying Punk had no business deciding who should be in World Championship matches. On top of that, he even asked the crowd if they thought Punk should come to the commentary table, but it elicited mixed results.
But then Rollins delivered a superkick to McIntyre out of nowhere, which was quite unexpected but thrilling.
But eventually Punk decided he would do some commentary during WrestleMania which sounded like a good fit for him. He even teased them about being more interesting than they are.
I enjoyed watching this scene so much! There was drama, comedy and suspense – all that you would want in a wrestling program. Next Monday Night Raw can’t come soon enough.
