WOO - My Take on The Rock's New Nickname: "The Final Boss
Hi guys so did you happen to catch Friday night Smackdown last night?
As I was watching the latest SmackDown, there was someting that caught my eye – The Rock, yes the Hollywood megastar, now calls himself “The Final Boss.” At first, I was like, "Wait, what?" Then it got me thinking.
Consequently, there is this wrestling tough guy referred to as Dutch Mantell and he had an opinion on The Rock’s new nickname. He said it suits him because he is basically in charge of the company. Now guess what? I think so too.
The Rock has not minced his words as far as being the boss is concerned. He just told everyone last week “I am your boss!” And don’t you think that honesty deserves respect?
Why should we pretend when everybody knows the person calling the shots? So if he calls himself “The Final Boss,” he is not just saying for fun – he acknowledges his role in the company.
This transparency thing was also mentioned by Dutch Mantell. He says its great that The Rock is promoting himself as the boss. And you know what?
I think he’s on to something. When people know who is in charge and what’s happening behind the scenes, they trust each other. Trust is paramount, especially in a huge organization like WWE.
But then again, it may not be okay with everyone for The Rock to style himself “The Final Boss.”
For instance, let’s take Cody Rhodes for example who also happens to be a wrestler. I mean just think; if your colleague were all of a sudden to declare themselves as the head honcho wouldn’t you want more information?
So, what will be really exciting to see is how Cody Rhodes would respond to The Rock’s new nickname.
Will he accept this? Or will he pass a comment on it? Either way, it could give rise to another level of dramatization in WWE storylines.
All in all, The Rock's new nickname is pretty awesome. It’s fearless; it’s arrogant and truthful as well.
And after all, if you are the chief executive officer, why not be proud of that, right? So here is “The Final Boss,” let him keep on shaking the world of WWE with his charm and style as a boss among bosses.
